Looking back, never got why gen 5 get so much hate tbh. It has a lot of content, a solid story, a lot of post game content, and gives a challenge for hardcore fans. Though i remember that most of the hate is about the pokemon design and the rivals(?) For some reason

@@frankfort332 True, it does need a trick room setter to compensate for it's low speed and bulk, though that's definitely not hard to get in gen 5. It's usually moreso jabs at it's design being a sentient ice cream cone rather than it's stats though.

I also started a Pokémon Black Nuzlocke and funnily enough, I had my flying type die the same way as RT's against Clay. Wasn't sure my starter could survive another Bulldoze so I went to switch to my flying type only for it to die to Rock Slide... But at least mine was just a Ducklett.

I kind of hate Karrablast and Shelmet. I'm doing a Pokemon Y Nuzlocke (started before Daniel started his of this game) and caught a Karrablast in an area with 6 other decent pokemon that I could evolve or at least use. But Karrablast is a dud since I can't trade it with a Shelmet at all. My well see if there's a way to do so via the Discord of RTGame.(am using the Discord for that purpose now) Edit: Also, I've been playing Pokemon since I was like 6 and playing Pokemon Blue. 5th is the only generation I never got because it came out at a time I was super not into Pokemon but I played some of it later on. I have encountered 0 shinies. I'm 31 going on 32. The struggle is real for me because I don't actively try to get them.
