      Thanks a lot. Keep on going! I can still remember how my first fans looked like and how it felt doing them. It's amazing what we achieve after a while. Never forget that because it feels so natural after a while :)

    Pretty good for one year of cardistry! I think the video was too long though because of all the repeated moves. I think you can improve on your future videos by not repeating so many moves. :)

      +Jedrick Prudente Thanks a lot for this feedback. I've got the same impression. I hope to learn more moves to complement Sybilcut and giant fan ;) Do you have suggestions or personal favorites of card flourishes?

    • @epicgaming528
      @epicgaming528 7 лет назад +1

      No problem! If you like Sybil, then a personal favorite of mine is Squeeze by Daren Yeow - it complements Sybil, combos into it fluidly, and is a lot of fun to do by itself (you'll probably have to learn it by watching the performance though. Check out David Pedersen's "Squeeze a Square Tutorial" on YT). If you like the Giant Fan, then I suggest checking out Friffle by Oliver Sogard since it's also a Faro weaving move, or maybe check out other fans like the Flower Fan or Yin Yang Fan if you like fans. :)

      Work Life Magic if you like the sybilcut,you can learn a variation. The name is spin Sybil.Or you could learn crawler.
      Hope you learn new great cardistry moves.
      Bye.

      +Oliver Riezebos thanks for the feedback. What is in your oppinion the biggest issue with me doing the flicker?

    • @oliverriezebos
      @oliverriezebos 7 лет назад +2

      Work Life Magic look at the original flicker tutorial, he teaches you to also do A kind of movement with your arm. Also you have to do it more smooth. Don’t wanna be anyoning just want to help 👍🏻

    you need to learn more cuts not just little variations with sybil

    • @WorkLifeMagic
      @WorkLifeMagic  7 лет назад

      +Marc Faubert Thank you. What cuts do you recommend fir beginner?

    • @idkgooglei7
      @idkgooglei7 7 лет назад

      Try creating ur own also try learning 2 card twirls and bullet

    • @marcfaubert6751
      @marcfaubert6751 7 лет назад

      what i did was learn basic cuts or start to cuts from youtube tutorials and then change them or us that style for inspiration

  • @birdsong3786
    @birdsong3786 7 лет назад +2

    You should probably learn to do more two handed cuts rather than only a sybil cut. How long did you practice for a day? No offense, but it's pretty bad for a year. But it's ok, everyone sucks at one point. Just practice more and don't give up 🙌

    • @WorkLifeMagic
      @WorkLifeMagic  7 лет назад

      +Reanimated Mockingbird Thanks for your honest feedback. Until recently, I didn't practice much and very unfrequently. Now, I found a good timeslot to practice on the way to my working place. It's indeed amazing how fast you get better when practicing each day. :)

    good but you need more practic and speed

  • @littlelegend5133
    @littlelegend5133 7 лет назад +1

    you are pretty good.
    your not doing the moves as fast as the virts or dan and dave, but you do them pretty clean. i think, that speed comes over time, just keep it up.
    i did a similar video, if you want you can check it out and tell me, what you think

    • @WorkLifeMagic
      @WorkLifeMagic  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks for your honest feedback. It's true that somebody, including me, could make much more progress in one year. It's always question of how much time you invest. Now, it is what it is :) I'd love to see you doing cardistry. Any plans to share? :)

    • @edo7925
      @edo7925 7 лет назад +1

      I don't have any instagrams but I can purchase a deck for cardistry then make a insta and I'll tag you in a video sounds good? As you said it is how much time you spend doing cardistry I personally do it half a day or more I have moments where I'm depressed so the cards help me feel better maybe I can dm you on insta where I show a video of what I can do.

    I don't want to brag but i have been doing cardistry for only like 8 months and i am better than you
    You don't need to learn a new florish until you perfect the first one

    • @WorkLifeMagic
      @WorkLifeMagic  4 года назад

      I have no doubts :) Ultimately, it's a matter of hours you invest into doing cardistry and not how many months since you started, right?

  • @zaf3166
    @zaf3166 7 лет назад +2

    better then dan and dave

    • @WorkLifeMagic
      @WorkLifeMagic  7 лет назад

      I feel flattered, ZAF :D. But I'm surely not better than Dan & Dave. It's simply amazing what both can do with playing cards.

    This is the most repatitave video ever. And as a cardist myself I've been cardistry for less than a year and I can do a lot better then this guy. Not to sound negative but for a year this guy knows like 5 basic moves and hes not even that good at those
