( With all the sincerity in the world meant ) I am utterly addicted to your videos. Each trip seems to echo that same drive and urgency I have had for travel since the age of 10. Roll-on next week; and next week's video. Meantime....thanks for taking the time and effort to not only make the videos of your journeys, but - especially - for taking the time to film that lemon cake.
Agree whole heartedly. If a memory is a collection of moments in time then I have the most awesome collection of Japan thanks to Kuga. Just love your expressions they tickle my fancy. That cake would have been so happy ending up where it did ..lol. Another brilliant vlog from the Maestro thank you. Bushyboy Oz.
I would love to visit Japan, but it's a long way from England and I'm not rich. Watching Kuga's videos is the next best thing to travelling around his amazing and beautiful country with a knowledgable local guide.
Greetings from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil! I enjoy your videos and this particular one is excellent, nice ferries you have in Japan as well as high speed trains. Thank you for sharing!
Kuga-San, thanks as always for these videos. This is a great option for a first trip to Shikoku. I’m definitely putting this on my list for when I visit Hiroshima and the surrounding area.
I remember boarding the Shoyo Maru from Hiroshima to Matsuyama, then (through local transport to airport) flying from there to Narita. Only 25 or so passengers, in addition to crew, onboard. So much room and so comfortable. (I got a little discount because I was American) Ahh, a taste of Shikoku nostalgia.
It's so quiet there. I am always impressed by the cleanliness on these ferries. I think I like sitting on the floor better than on furniture - my next apartment will only have a bed :-) Going under the brdige reminds me of the Cape Cod Canal in Massachusetts. Sitting on the lawn, so cool. I wish I coud be traveling with you. Thanks so much Kuga! :-)
I hope you aren't planning to have guests. :-P Unless your entire floor is covered in a thick, plush carpet. 😆 It's one thing sitting on the floor yourself, but guests should definitely have the option to sit on a chair. 😝
So cool to see all those little islands popping up here in there much more interesting than just seeing ocean although the ocean is beautiful. That’s the first time I think I’ve seen someone showed the little islands! Thank you so much for sharing your video! 😊👍🌷
Ferry is definitely different than the others...reminds me of ones I traveled on as a child in Michigan...I'm glad that you liked the ride....and amenities...ice cream ! And cake ! Can't get any better snacks ! Stay safe and see you on the next adventure ! Love your videos !
Now that you've mentioned both Kure and Hiroshima, there was a train that linked the two, and was themed like a boat, full with teak wooden planks, rows, floats, everything! Super cool to take, and it was my first diesel train ever.
I would take that trip just to eat the lemon cake, it looked fantastic. Was the grass on the deck synthetic? I can't imagine it'd be live grass, it'd be so much work to maintain if it were.
I can't comment about how modern this ferry is but I think that it is very pretty. Where did all the people go though? Nobody on the ferry nobody on the docks? Where are they hiding?
It must be nice and comfortable during the season in May, right ? Otherwise, you wouldn’t be chomping on ice cream 🍦 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋😋😋on an open deck on this ferry.
Do the Japanese like golf? Can you imagine how fun it would be to have one place on the ferry where you can drive golf balls into the water (or at other boats) and then there be another place where you can test your putting prowess?
Dear Kuga, please do not translate or emphasise your emotional reaction to things by the use of the word WOWZA. It's use in the UK is exclusive to chavs and people of age who are trying to be hip. Great peril is associated with said word. It is not worth the risk.

The unusual style of the the ship in the thumbnail immediately caught my eye
The ferry terminal for your trip, Matsuyama to Hiroshima, seems very new and clean 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I did the reverse journey - Hiroshima to Matasuyama - happy memories!
Do they have a luggage storage place inside the ferry?
Public transports in Japan are the best!
What a relaxing few hours on the sea. Thanks for taking me with you.
Kuga San, thank you for these lovely trips. You've become one of my favorite roamers. I'd love to hear about the okonomiyaki in Hiroshima ❤️
Your videos are like taking a short vacation, very relaxing. And now I really need a piece of lemon cake ...
I would love to visit Japan, but it's a long way from England and I'm not rich. Watching Kuga's videos is the next best thing to travelling around his amazing and beautiful country with a knowledgable local guide.

I like this ferry. I want to pack a picnic and enjoy it on the lawn! Thanks for the video🙂🙂⛴️⛴️
WOW! That ferry was a destination in itself! The lawn was such an unexpected bonus and so lovely. Thank you for taking us along with you.
Nice video of a amazing ferry, and at last without any snow............
That was a very modern unique ferry. Loved it and the color scheme they picked was perfect.

It was a nice trip, thank you very much for taking me with you!
Nice trip. I hope someday you can show us trip to Rabbits Island
Adorable little trams! Gosh!
Wowww, look at Kure's shipbuilding industry!! It's where the great Yamato warship was built, right?
I get seasick. It must be lovely crossing the inland sea. Matsuyama is a place that I intend to visit when, if, the travel restrictions stop.

I love how neat and clean the dock looks! 😊🌷👍
Very nice ferry, with outdoor seating ❤️

Thanks for the lovely video!

So you found Kuga's island...small one but need vending machine. ^ ^'
And a house!
Thanks for the great video! This ferry is very well designed. I hope I can try it some day (and visit Shikoku again!).
I hope you could do a vlog about the tramlines in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I love Okonomiyaki. I have not eaten it for decades 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😋😋😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Thank you 😊
"My mouth is Disneyland." Haha Must remember that for future use. Great video, beautiful ship. Thank you!
Her design is very similar to those vessels who was sold to service here in the Philippines
Good looking boat fun thank you
Very cool 👍👍👍👍 ciao from italy 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
it looked fun and cozy :) ty for this great video :)
very pretty. Be safe & God Bless
Thanks for the lovely video! I hope to do it in November!
Great trip
Man, that is a really nice looking ferry for sure!
What a nice little ferry! Can you just ride back and forth all day, or do they make you get off and buy another ticket? I'd stay on!
Legal! Mas eu gosto é das cabines dos navios, dos ferries...
I would take that trip just to eat the lemon cake, it looked fantastic. Was the grass on the deck synthetic? I can't imagine it'd be live grass, it'd be so much work to maintain if it were.
interesting
very nice
thanks
Hello Kuga-san, is it possible to do a day trip to Matsuyama from Hiroshima if I take the first and last ferries out?
Cool ferry, they’ve done a great job with branding and style. But where are any passengers on mass?
Beautiful 👏👏👏🇬🇧
I can't comment about how modern this ferry is but I think that it is very pretty. Where did all the people go though? Nobody on the ferry nobody on the docks? Where are they hiding?
Nice~! this is exactly what I planned to do once the country opens up :)
So empty in ferry which is great, hope Japan opens soon
"My mouth is in Disneyland". Lololololol!
Nice vid 👍👍

Nice trip, again. When are you going to take a ship to Naha ?
Did you ever ride the Skyrail in Hiroshima? I heard it is closing down and service will be replaced by buses.
It looks so *w i d e* 😫😍
ビデオがありがとう。
広島のおこのみむらでお好み焼きをたべまますか?良いだよ。
GO KUGA
There were cormorants on the island, those are technically edible.
What is downstairs like ?
🥰
How come the boats and trains are always empty?
Do the Japanese like golf? Can you imagine how fun it would be to have one place on the ferry where you can drive golf balls into the water (or at other boats) and then there be another place where you can test your putting prowess?
🤣💯❤👌✌👍💪
How disgusting that everything on board results in garbage
