Came across your channel when I was doing some research about mini engine rebuilt when I also has same issues with mine and I never went back! Its definitely the most comprehensive and noob-proof there is. Cant wait to see your mini banging ps: You probably know this but avoid pushing too hard, give it a good >2000km below 3000RPM to let all the parts settle in, oil and fuel to fill all components properly 👌

While rebuilding the Engine do you have to buy a new engine block, cylinder hear and the rocker cover for example I want to do a similar project for my Vw Mk4 1.6 16v 2003 petrol BCB engine code
Is it worth your while to go to the US to pick up your car parts? Wouldn’t it be be cheaper if you just got it delivered to your house? I mean with the amount of driving and gas consumption it takes it would basically be the same

Make sure that motor is primed, no plastic or debris anywhere, all that stuff. Dont want pre wear

Ayoub Farid you have no clue how much you would save driving to the states to get the part ! Customs and duties cost a lot in Canada
