    alpha is also discussed. At the end of video, you will know:
    1. What is reliability analysis and why it is important,
    2. What is Cronbach's alpha?
    3. What is internal consistency reliability?
    4. How to Conduct Reliability analysis in SPSS
    5. How to determine the level of reliability of an instrument,
    6. How to assess weak items to improve reliability,
    7. How to interpret Cronbach's alpha values,
    8. How to determine weak, acceptable, good and excellence reliable instrument.

    Thank you, this is very clear presentation. I have questions;
    1. How do I conduct reliability for pilot testings? Am I to prepare a likert scale questionnaire set for the respondents for the pilot test for each question in my questionnaires?
    2. How many respondents is sufficient to conduct the reliability and validity for pilot test study?
    3. Wha should I do is the questionnaire set is unacceptable or poor?

      Thank you so much for your likeness. Here are answers of your questions:
      1. Reliability analysis for actual data and for pilot testing are same. For pilot testing reliability you can follow the guidelines given in this video.
      2. Minimum 50 to 60 participants are acceptable for conducting reliability analysis. While validity depends which type of validity is to conduct. Validity assessment from experts does not require any prior data.

    My all variables reliability alpha cronpach's is. 935.
    So how can i write in interpretation kindly guide me.

      It shows you have very good reliability. You can report, the reliability of the instrument was excellent as the cronbach alpha value was more than .90 which shows good reliability estimations for this instrument

    hello, if cronbach alpha reliability value is .85 for a scale, is it correct to say the 85% of the variance is good variance, with 15% error variance?

    • @TREADExcellence
      @TREADExcellence  4 года назад

      NO. If reliability coefficient is 0.85 then (0.85)^2 = 72%, which means this instrument is 72% consistent and it will produce 72% similar measures which indicates quit good reliability.

      @@TREADExcellence okay thank you for responding and for providing me with the equation for figure it out. i really appreciate it :)

      @@TREADExcellence oh also, for that example, 72-100 = 28. Does 28% represent error variance ? thanks
