Nicely done. Thanks!
Whaaat, I’m definitely going to try this tomorrow. I spin supercoils a lot but have been having some trouble doing consistent spirals especially with a thick and thin. Thank you. I’m very curious to see if I can make it work for me.
Thank you. Good video.
Your yarns are beautiful can't wait till I can spin this good xx thanks for the tips and I love how the little ones get to be part of it all too x
Thanks so much! I learned how to do a spiral ply properly now! And how to fix it a coil into a spiral. I'm impressed that you can spin with a toddler on your lap, too!
***** Thanks Robin, I'm glad you found it helpful. She actually fell asleep in my lap by the time I finished plying, haha, now I know how to get her down for a nap fast!!! :)
Awesome...lol! Spinning is very soothing...
I love your videos. I am. Watching this at 2 am with headphones on and my house is haunted so I always hear little kids laughing when no kids are here so w hen she started talking I freaked out and thought the ghost kids were back.
Beautiful , I'm a newbie at spinning what do you do to set yarn I hear this a lot in videos but I'm trying to learn as much as I can so when I start spinning I have and idea what I'm doing
Wonderful video! Your kids are adorable.
Super novice here, asking how you set the ply at the end? Is that just washing the finished spun yarn?
Thanks!
Great spinning and great mothering! Could you use this technique with beads on the thread to introduce the beads into the yarn? Obviously not if I'm holding it exactly like you did, but I'm thinking of trying it.
great video very clear!
Thank you. You gave me the final steps and technique i was missing. Now to go practise! Appreciate your video.
Thank you so much! :)
Hi!
May I ask, does this technique still hold true, when plying with yarns of a similar, or the same weight? Thank you!
