Beautiful , I'm a newbie at spinning what do you do to set yarn I hear this a lot in videos but I'm trying to learn as much as I can so when I start spinning I have and idea what I'm doing

I don’t usually go this big simply because I like my fiber to last me a bit longer since spinning is my favorite part of the craft and I don’t have limitless budget but I am going to try a smaller coil soon and it was so nice to get a quick refresh! That sidekick looks like so much fun!

I just made an old "walking wheel" style spinning wheel out of a bike. I took the rear wheel off and inserted a 36cm double pointed needle through the frame drive band on front wheel to rear needle which I taped and wrapped in some twine for the drive band to be gripped. I want to mount it on the wall so I can walk instead of this 'rowing' I've been doing on the floor... can this beautiful yarn be done on my knockoff? :)
