"Mega Man, I cannot blame you for your actions. You were just fighting for what you believed in - but so were we. At least we have a mutual standing about this situation: whatever happens, one of us will be next."
"Welcome to the scrapyard blue boy. This is where all robots come to die... and become my next meal." "Why are you mad? You're the reason they're here. Or did you really think Dr. Wily rebuilt them every time?" "Doesn't matter now. You're here, and I'm getting hungry again. Its been a while since I've had some fresh circuits... let alone one from a new Dr. Light creation." You know, with all those arms you've stolen... I'd say you're just like me. Another bot taking parts for his own gain."
I like how the music is all loud and dark, but the main tune of it, is high pitched at the beginning, sounds like Megaman is lost in the Robot junk(grave)yard
Coming back here in 2021... this theme is still eerie.. the feeling of hopeless dread and the oddly specific feeling of finding a false hope is still prevailing... I adore this track as old as it is, it will shine as a example of what Megaman can truly be...
This actually reminds me of the Mega Man Megamix 9 where the robots were taken away to be scrapped, and then just thrown at a scrapyard... this tune is kinda sad and creepy, especially with the thought of robots being scrapped against their will...
The only word I can think of when I hear this is ‘judgement.’ The Dust Man stage is hell for robots, and Megaman has to confront his own sins to reach the end.
Crazy how this remix and it's super unique take on the original track has spawned so much to the point where the Duccly songs feel like completely new songs from the original that its skeletal foundations are based on. Very cool. I only played Mega Man 4 for the first time a month ago and was so deeply struck by Dust Man's Theme. Insane to see that it also took hold of so many others in a similar way. Credit to the original track's quality.
“-They had life, they had will, self preservation, a shell to call there own-They had loved ones, a motive beyond there code, some even had godlike status, cults even! And for what, just to be thrown away!? They’re sentient! They had thoughts and aspirations!-They aren’t garbage, heck they aren’t even trophies, they’re... they are people. -Well they’re clearly more human then you could ever be... even that one -the metallic reincarnation of Death himself, holds more of a moral compass then you could ever have, Dr Right. If you aren’t going to rebuild him, then I’ll do it myself” Kaito 2074/12/25, National Robot Museum
You know, if Dustman were a LOT, and I mean a lot, harder, as in combined with the difficulty of the Dustman stage on the Gameboy edition, harder of a fight... It’d be a fitting final boss. Dust Man is a robot cannibal. His stage is basically Robot Hell.
(Not the most pleasant situation) You got to a huge dump of broken robots, you yourself expanded it with your exploits. Mikhail Sergeyevich (Kazak) made a good robot.
Mah gaaaaaaaaaaaaawd. I need an .mp3 of this please! Shits a lil too great, as are the others. Dust man is one of my favorite bgm in Mega Man, along with Dr. Wily stages 1+2 in Mega Man 3.
Wait I thought this music was completely OG. I didn't know it was acutely a remix of Dust Man's stage. I know it seems obvious but when I saw a video with this music, it made me relise that Dust Man is one of the most cruel robot masters in the whole series. which is what confused me about the music. I thought that because Dust Man is cruel, Cruel music fitted him the most, which is why I thought it was original.
While on MM4...ring man is underrated hes one of the hardest robot masters and he has a easy pattern Edit: Why I felt the need to post about Ring Man here I may never know...
This is a good remix..but at alot of moments I couldn't tell it was Dust Man's stage and this particular remix took away the melancholy feeling the original had, at least in a lot of parts.
And I accept that, if you get that feeling. But for me, the overall sadness and dullness of a junk yard was taken away in this remix. Which is not to say it did a *bad* job, but like I stated in my previous comment; at a lot of moments, I would never be able to tell it was Dust Man's stage.

Oof
it's just a graveyard but for robots and a 10 to 13 year old child with armor
The first 15 seconds of the soundtrack still makes me twitch nervously to this day. Still as good as I remember...
That feeling when it feels like something just snaps into place, that twinge when the music starts, as if something had been reawakened.
Wow, very impressive! It really fits the industrial look of Dust Man's level.
I agree 15 years later!
Hey, found it again and it's still a masterpiece!

If Ptsd had its own song
Still good idea. Not hard click edit on video options and do.
I Think you should give the credit to AmIEvil of OCremix for making this song...

Isn't this in Revenge The Unseen Ending?
This one is the original my friend, the cover is older than Undertale itself
