- On this episode of The Lowside we go and spend a day in the life of hooligan racer and machinist Chris Wiggins. Chris has been racing his H-D Sportster on the flat track for years now. He spent some time working for Vance & Hines, Saddlemen Seats, and now works for an aerospace company out of Burbank, California. And as if that wasn’t enough, he also runs his own knife company, Field Initiative Knives, out of a small workshop he built in his garage. We thought, “What better person to feature on our first non-event-focused episode than this multifaceted moto madman?” So we headed out to invade his space and talk to him about his passion for motorcycling and how all of his skills and interests intersect.

Those are some fighting words there, saying that knife smith's can't forge a blade as good as a stock removal blade..... I personally know a few very talented sword smith's and blacksmith's that will gladly take up that challenge. :D
And win the bet without a sweat.
Pretty sure he's talking about metal composition not ability as a maker.
