he played this song recently in austin tx and its funny how he reacts when he makes a mistake, just stops playing and starts convo with the crowd and then goes back to playing. Mike Kinsella is a great human
Right. I think his voice works for this. It's like poetry over a guitar. I don't always need to hear someone with a powerful set of vocals to think "music". I dig the uniqueness of it.
0:55 is one of my favorite sections he has ever wrote, but it is so saturated with backround filler in the studio version i cant feel the original riff =( this version of it is just perfect.
@SverigePOP1 That's his voice, it's the way he portrays his emotions. I personally enjoy it, if I want something acoustic with a bit of a raspy vibe I'll listen to 'The Tallest Man on Earth'. Did you never listen to American Football?? Also if you like them and a bit of pop punk check out Transit, similar style vocals and music.

C, G, Cb,G,B,D Capo on third
I'm not crying, you're crying
@andreplaysmusic I agree, i was so confused by seeing the Martin. Maybe it's just an "at home preference"
@strangebirdsir: He mentioned in an interview that he loves using the Martin, but he's too afraid to take it on tour. So yeah, you're right.

@voicescarey11 Sigh...That's exactly why I hate youtube. Btw: Cb=B and it should be D. (That's Ebb in your world, right?)
