“I don’t do outside…” felt, girl, felt. I have 11 kids and not much time for rolling in the green pastures of the outdoors every day any more. 😂 I LOVE Biblioplan!!! So many options, but easy to select and fit the pieces together we want/need to include!!!!
It looks super amazing and way too overwhelming all at once.
Though it looks overwhelming - BiblioPlan is really open and go! Super easy to do! After the first week you will be amazed at how streamlined and easy it is to implement.
I used BP several years ago with my middle school/ high schoolers. I was going through some health challenges and needed something thorough yet independent on the days I just couldn’t think. BP has so much to offer, yet all of it is not necessary. It seems overwhelming, but I think the offerings are there so you can tailor it to your style. I used the spine, Cool History, discussion guide and maps pretty much (names of books might have changed now). My 2 daughters have since graduated and looking at it now is exciting! They have added so much more. 😊

How does this compare to Sonlight and Mystery of History?
How many hours does it take a day?
I’m not the creator, but Biblioplan allows you to select your literature based on the ages and interests of your kids from their awesome annotated booklists in the teacher guides!
You can add coloring books, hands on project guidebook, map work per grade level, discussion questions and a timeline that all center around a sound of your choice…. Remember the days and consider the years are the spines and the read alouds and/or independent readers help flesh out the historical context of the spine. If someone lives misting of history, then Biblioplan also includes the reading schedule for that if your family uses THAT as a spine instead of the ones from BP!
