Great show. I brag about my experience in an HBCU band all the time and that was well over 10 years ago lol. When you get out into the world and live in other regions, you realize how small our HBCU band community is. It makes you really appreciate the culture. This is our version of big time college football. We get the same feeling that people who went to big time schools like Michigan or USC get when their school is in the spotlight. I ride for PV but I appreciate other bands and schools all the same. Great work, Showtime Web 💪
C'MON FAMU!!! The WHOLE BAND danced - WITHOUT laying their instruments down, and the HORSE!! They made the horse gallup... They're a completely different level of excellence on the field
@@dezbrooks8830 I'm with you on this one, I been asking this question for years now. I mean, even the percussion section danced, and I haven't seen that in a LONG time
Blessings to all of these musicians and schools who attended and performed. Miles College won the field show with the State of Texas Designed coming all the way to the stands and that old school tribute with the trumpets and the drill was nice too. Southern won the stands hands down, they were in mid-season form. Happy FAMU looked to be back, NCCU, WHY???? TSU was nice and clean. Overall, the dome hurt all bands sound on and off the field,

I like how TSU tried to crank on Miles, only for Miles to dawg TSU, then turn on PV immediately after, only to have PV shit down their tuba break, and the have PV fuck up their own tuba break.

Talladega WTH. Band director has no concept of proper show design and it shows. Why were the drum majors even there when they were off the field half the time? They don't have football games so practicing marching a proper 8 to 5 is no excuse. It just goes show that everybody's not built to be in this profession. But they were loud I guess.
@@GVocalz3 I've been following them since they first came out and saw them at Honda a few years ago. A good band director would work on proper at 8 to 5 techniques.

Let me just be honest. I was there in section 400-600. As I true band supporter and band head. This battle was not organized correctly and it was weak really. We don’t care about no field shows. STAND BATTLES please. If you was judging field shows than of course FAMMU won. The stand battle could have provided who had they best sound quality and balanced.
