- A virtual treadmill running video from within the Rome Marathon 2023. The route is extraordinarily planned; starting from the Colosseum and covering many tourist hotspots along the way before looping back to finish again at the Colosseum.
If you want to participate in the race, it would be advisable to stay near the colosseum, because the entry to the race start area is behind it, and the metro closes down for the race at 5:30 AM.
For your reference the video was shot while running at a pace of around 4:50-4:55 min/km.
The crowd support was fantastic and the bands along the race were unparalleled. I had a lovely time running this race, navigating the Roman cobblestone streets along historic monuments.

Nice race.thankq
Thanks
Thanks 😊
😊
😊je suis désolé de ne pas avoir mis l'itinéraire sur la vidéo.
Why do I spend the entire finish watching the runner? I thought the idea was to see the course?
It would be great if you could explain your expectations better.. is it a drone footage you want or the race course view without runners in it?
Sure. I want to experience the race. Most of the footage was perfect. Just like I was was running myself. Camera faced forward, just like a runner would see the race of he were running in it.
Then, just as I am about to run across the finish line, the camera is turned so I'm watching the camera man instead of running across the finish line. It kinda messed out up for me.
Thanks, it’s a pretty good feedback and will be implemented in the future videos..
