You can just grind it or file it down that key ring, but I use it so many times just to hang off anything to use it’s so brilliantly useful

I bought the Olight i1R at about the same time you posted a review on it and then within a week it fell off my non-locking key holder. It wasn't expensive but I hate losing things. So I replaced it with the bigger and USB charging Nitecore TIP SE and yes it is a bit bigger - what a beast it is compared to what I had. In turbo mode it is like a hand warmer. Still probably way more than I need. PS love you new watch - makes for a more elegant office watch than the Sinn.

Thanks! And I feel you pain in losing that light. But hey, at least you had a reason to upgrade then. Nitecore actually does make some great products but for some reason they never appeared on my radar. I hope they will continue down that road and maybe do some limited runs with more exciting materials :)

I absolutely love it when postal carriers charge you for services you did not request. But in the end, the question is always whether you accepted contract conditions or not.
I don´t like rechargeables. I prefer to have a spare AAA ready somewhere when the power runs out.
Reliance on power grids is not the "survival" aspect of an EDC to me. Schönen Tag ;)

Thanks for the post TT. I have an older Nitecore keychain light, which has served me well. Aesthetically, I love minimalist Bauhaus-inspired dials, and do own a few, but my eyes seem to favor chunky diver hands. Love that "random unrelated b-roll" lower third.

I have the older/original Tini in copper, love the cool steampunk look, 3 complaints:
    1) long press to turn on, and I meant loong.
    2) much shorter, long press for TURBO?! with no lockout -__- (too many accidental presses in the pocket)
I guess you would have to lock it (at least a choice) everytime too on this version..
    3) built-in, non(user)replaceable battery.
Oh and they just released the ti+ss version btw.

You have my dream watch right there! And I have carried the same Leatherman daily for years. I’ve also been eyeing on the TINI2 for a while. The only thing holding me back is that I don’t carry my keys in my pocket so I prefer a dedicated flashlight with a pocket clip.

I carry the Nitecore Tiki attached to a 111 mm Swiss Army Knife in my casual (staying at home) pants, I also have several other keychain lights and now after watching this video I have a Tini 2 on the way.

i think the demo mode is for the light when its in the box, the box have hole for you to press and test the light. To conserve battery, demo mode is added

In demo mode, the light turns off after 30 seconds (countdown in bottemleft corner of the screen). Daily mode it won't turn off on its own.
