    The dog like me curled up in the most comfortable spot, Magical spot, rain made it special, Enjoyed your getaway, Had my first ride in ambulance early morning, All is well again, Cheers from a lot cooler Qld , ❤🦘🦘🤠🇦🇺

    It use to a car park when they were building the dams in the area. A walk further down the road is very interesting. I know of more walks thanks.

    The area where you parked up was the Single Mans camp site Used to be full of small single Huts for the staff that worked on the Tongariro Power scheme

      Oh wow! Interesting! I guess it took a fair few years to build the power station and tunnel those massive pipes through the hill!

      @@AdventuresWithRosy I worked therefor some 8 years as Heavy Plant Fitter. Ended up as a Shift Fitter in the Rangipo Tunnels. Interesting job.

      This rain is getting rather annoying isn’t it! We have finally had a couple of sunny days here in Taupo which has been great. Spent the whole fay mowing lawns yesterday 😅

    I love the copper kettle shown in the opening part of your video. Where did you get it please?
    Also, I liked Chelsea's jacket. What make, please? Four Seasons?

      Hi Debbie, the kettle is a Hario (Japanese brand that coffee supply shops sell here in NZ) Chelsea’s jacket is from Kathmandu, it’s got a nice fleece lining that unzips from the inside 👍

      They are from mum to mum (think they are on Instagram) cool little jackets huh? They have overall pants underneath which are great, they have had a lot of wear out of them 😊
