The dog like me curled up in the most comfortable spot, Magical spot, rain made it special, Enjoyed your getaway, Had my first ride in ambulance early morning, All is well again, Cheers from a lot cooler Qld , ❤🦘🦘🤠🇦🇺
Lyndelles taste in books aligns alongside yours Bronson, I just watch the movie 😂 It's great to get a quick weekend away, the girls are getting taller and looking older running around
It use to a car park when they were building the dams in the area. A walk further down the road is very interesting. I know of more walks thanks. Brian and Anna from Kawerau
The area where you parked up was the Single Mans camp site Used to be full of small single Huts for the staff that worked on the Tongariro Power scheme
I'm a tad behind with utube - thanks for sharing your short trip away - Gizmo has the right idea, if you can stay home on a rain filled day. Again too much rain in Auks right now!
This rain is getting rather annoying isn’t it! We have finally had a couple of sunny days here in Taupo which has been great. Spent the whole fay mowing lawns yesterday 😅
I love the copper kettle shown in the opening part of your video. Where did you get it please? Also, I liked Chelsea's jacket. What make, please? Four Seasons? Debbie
Hi Debbie, the kettle is a Hario (Japanese brand that coffee supply shops sell here in NZ) Chelsea’s jacket is from Kathmandu, it’s got a nice fleece lining that unzips from the inside 👍
They are from mum to mum (think they are on Instagram) cool little jackets huh? They have overall pants underneath which are great, they have had a lot of wear out of them 😊
Awesome kettle guys and great vid. Hope you all enjoyed your downtime..
Cheers Shane, yeh it was a great little end to the school holidays (rain and all)
Kia ora koutou! We were here over ANZAC as well!! Must, MUST have passed you guys at some point!! Great video! Ka pai!
Thanks team! We must have passed each other! Hope you had a good time over here 👍

Oh no! Glad you are well now! Haha yeh Gizmo spent most of the weekend in bed 😅
Our dog loves when the diesel heater goes on. Have to make sure she doesn't sit right in front of the vent 🤣
Haha yeh Gizmo often lies so close to the fire at home he walks around panting 😂 not the brightest
Looked so nice even in the rain, great info about where you were. Had a chuckle about the ballet, easier and cheaper than ponies😅
Haha yeh that is a very good way to think about it! 😂

Oh funny that she has the same tastes! The girls are getting big huh, before we know it they will be off to school haha
We just missed you... we were at Turangi NZMCA the day before. I also saw those "Da Vinci Code" books and thought of you :)
Haha funny! Maybe I should give it a read one of these days 😅 sorry we missed you!

The Andy McNab one? I like his books 👍
@@AdventuresWithRosy ,yeh. Or Chris Ryans “the one that got away”
Oh I’ll have to keep any eye out for that one! Thanks 😁

Interesting... I too had wondered what had been there!
Oh wow! Interesting! I guess it took a fair few years to build the power station and tunnel those massive pipes through the hill!
@@AdventuresWithRosy I worked therefor some 8 years as Heavy Plant Fitter. Ended up as a Shift Fitter in the Rangipo Tunnels. Interesting job.
You made me laugh when you said about the girls ballet "Hopefully they will get it out of their system ". Come on mate join in.😂
Haha both Chelsea and I are hoping they might get it out of the system 😂 or I could become a ballet dad and travel NZ to dance competitions?
It is pretty cool being in a caravan for a day when it's raining, but not for more than one lol. But that's with me by myself.
Haha yeh that’s true! It’s nice for one day 😊

@@AdventuresWithRosy We are just on our 2nd sunny and doesn't look even a "sun shower day" and it's a bit warmer!
@@catherinedeseton964 hopefully it lasts!
