Constantly working out, constantly watching what he eats, constantly working on his physique, fucking 20 girls a month and taking pictures of himself doing all this shit so the world can see....he's trying to prove something to both himself and the world. There's clearly something empty or off inside him that he needs to do _all_ that shit to give him a sense of purpose and validation. He's got some sort of inferiority complex that he needs to do all that shit just to feel 'valid'.

There's just something about Opie where 'lingering longer', with him, reveals more quirks that annoy than layers of comedy you enjoy. Worse, he sort of gets a pass from the rest of the show. For example, for a while there was a list of words Vos mispronounced when he came into the show. But 'fuchitive' is always overlooked and treated with kid gloves.
But I do agree with your premise, a month of Nopie shows would get pretty bad.

Well I mean they went to college and broadcasting school so they didn't have to do physical labor. I wish I would of did something of that nature. 39 years old and been doin physical labor since I was 14..it blows. Amount of vitamins and drugs I have to take to get out of bed to work on the morning and somehow go to the gym is astounding. Major neck shoulder and back injuries. I would love to be sitting in a chair talking shit for 4 hours a day and get paid 100k +
