RECIPE:
on a baguette/sub roll add two types of cheese (I used cheddar & provolone) & toast in oven. (see other comment for more)
Then add shredded turkey, pepperoni, salami & shredded lettuce tossed in 1:1 ratio of mayo & mustard. Top with pickles & thinly sliced onion!

I wonder where she did her grocery shopping because those are all very common and inexpensive ingredients here in Canada. Especially salami you can pretty much find it on sale at any point in time if you look through the newsletters.
It’s coles and Woolworths in Australia, everything is pretty expensive in relativity to other countries, and it looks like she bought stuff from the deli which is usually more expensive lol, I would’ve gone to Aldi and it would have been half the price

Provolone cheese is sold literally at every grocery store I have ever been to on multiple continents, it’s with the the sliced /shredded cheese, like sandwich slices. Even Aldi has it.

Ive made a very similar sandwich for decades with ham, swiss, pesto mayo blend, and lettuce tomatoes, and red onion. Also do a roast beef simmered in hot beef stock (better than bullion in water), put on the toasted baguette with pepper jack and toast to melt the cheese, than finish with veggies and mayo blended with canned Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and cracked black pepper

Is it not obvious that this creator isn’t from the US? And why on earth would us Aussies have Walmart or that specific cheese? Provolone cheese is possible to find, but it’s a specialty Italian item, not your standard cheese. Most Aussies buy “tasty cheese” which is a pale cheddar type cheese. Mozzarella and Parmesan are very common too. Outside of that, it’s specialty items.
I’ve been making something like that at work for years 😌 Turkey, salami & pepperoni is a good combo 🙌🏼

Slaw has more depth than mustard and mayo, it has other textures including lettuce carrots and etc, including other spices such as pepper, salt, vinegar, mustard and it makes such a good cut to a oily or savory dish and the mayo mustard lettuce doesn’t achieve that
So glad i live in Belgium bc it's so cheap to get and you can even buy it premade 🙏

Some grocery stores don’t have fresh deli sliced provolone. I’m sure they have Kraft or something like that, but I’m sure everyone knew what she meant. A lot of stores in the US don’t either & it’s extremely expensive.
