Came across this video and craved making this sandwich all day lol. Remixed it using: Cuban bread, white balsamic vinaigrette for the dressing, added spiraled cucumbers in the salad, roast beef, peppered turkey, salami, pepperoni, provolone & smoked gouda. 🤤 Hallelujah Jesus it is amazing. Ty girl!
Had some leftover porterhouse from a big steak dinner last night and did this recipe with thinly cut aged beef. Needless to say it was stupendously delicious.

For everyone asking, Deli dressing is a mixture of olive oil, vinegar, and different herbs and seasonings. I used Boar’s Head Deli Dressing but you can use Beanos Submarine dressing. I hope this was helpful 😄👍
This was delicious!! I sub'd the deli dressing and used ham (seems to be a theme for Italian subs so I know all the ingredients would mesh well) ...well done-it was a hit! The sauce is awesome!

I’ve tried a lot of sandwiches but when I tell you this is the best sandwich I ever had. Omg it was delicious this was a family favorite in the house thanks for sharing
great video. The only change for me would be to remove some of the bread inside the loaf to allow it to be less dense since store bought french bread is very heavy. cant wait to see your other videos...subbed and liked
Right lol?! The closest that came to this was a Italian BMT from Subway but after that, I got into making my own Sub bread at home and then soon after, I HAD to find out if there was an even better, albeit similar in flavor profile, sandwich. This was it. if I don't feel like having a really creamy salad type thing overtop of my meat though, I'll just take some normally chopped lettuce/red-onion and put it on top of the meats, making sure to just drizzle a small amount of Red Wine Vinegar (or a very light amount of Balsamic Vinegar since Balsamic is a very strong tasting vinegar that can easily overshadow everything else lol) quickly sprinkle on some Dry Parmesan from a Bottle and done. It's quicker and still tastes amazing. Also, never forget to throw Salt and Pepper on your Tomato's that makes a huuuuuuuuuuuge difference. It's like an entirely different vegetable.

That's one fine-looking sandwich! I'd personally swap the tomatoes out for fire-roasted red peppers myself, but other than that, it's pretty much an ideal combination for me!
I'm late, but this was amazing!! Love her method and calm disposition. This is the type of recipe you can play with different types of veggies. I'm not a huge fan of banana peppers, I just Chopped the tomato and a cpl Pickles in there (if sauce is too bitter from peppers or pickles, a sprinkle of sugar will balance it without sweetening it.) The next day I went ahead and chopped the meat in there too (all I had was turkey and roast beef) just to see how that would turn out and OMG!! I don't even care for roast beef like that but I tore that thing up, haha. Never going back to the traditional sub. 😋
