The Discord notif sound in the last (and deleted) version was annoying to know of because I closed Discord that day I left to get my ears checked and I don't even know why it was even there.

When I first completed chapter 1 on the Switch, and I saw the File Select screen... I just stared at it. 10+ minutes.
After closing the fountain, going through Hometown, seeing Kris rip out the SOUL, ending with the beautiful, yet slightly confusing, "Don't Forget," this mesmerizing song plays with the equally mesmerizing background... I don't know. It just felt... surreal. Strange.
Whenever I listen to this or "THE HOLY," it always makes me question...
What even *is* this game?
So much of it is just... insane. Characters, lore, story... dang it we haven't even seen half of this entire game yet. There's already so much out, but this is only a fraction.
When the rest of the chapters are released, I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself.
Probably stare.
Stare at the File Select.
Like I did back when I completed the very first chapter.
If I had to put a feeling down as to what this song describes, it is a deep, deep longing. Longing for bygone times of afternoons spent goofing off with friends after school, to getting just one more day with a loved one that's no longer with us.
I'm reminded of the Days version of Dearly Beloved, if I'm being honest. This is the only song that has managed to capture that same, tragically bittersweet tone of the days we take for granted.

Toby fox is a genius. I put on headphones to listen and, I’m hearing all of the background sounds. I never thought I’d hear something this good. Tears are starting to flood down my eyes. Only if we could go inside deltarune. All of our problems would be solved. The thing about Undertale and deltarune, they are wholesome. The characters are wholesome, the story line, the map, and don’t even get me started on the music. The fact that I’m crying a bit over music, might seem wimpy. I’m gonna say it again Toby fox is a genius. Somehow, just certain pieces of music can flood a whole bunch of vivid memories back into your head. If there was a real dark world, and all of that stuff, I’d just lose all of my problems. I don’t know if it’s a mental thing or something, but it’s nice that Toby fox is doing stuff like this. When deltarune ends, my SOUL will crack. This is the best of the best games in my opinion. He actually puts time into his games. Unlike, Mario party, which ends up repeating over and over again. This is not your ordinary RPG game. The NPCs change and become characters, which become sentimental. I cant say too much more after writing 2 paragraphs about this. But Toby fox, created a masterpiece. When this ends entirely, I don’t know what I’m going to do. There’s something mesmerizing about Undertale and Deltarune that makes you feel the feelings. It’s hard to explain… Is anyone even there?
his methods of harmonizing melodies is extremely creative, and on top of his incredible knowledge of music theory, his melodies, themes, motifs, and question response type themes like "enemy approaching" are all very unique, creative, catchy and innovative. He is, nothing but a genius, that game creators, musicians (like me) and many others look up to as a role model. One of the greatest modern artists of our age.
They may be wholesome, but you have all the power to make it the complete opposite if you truly desire to in both games.
If I could choose one world to get sucked into, I'd instantly choose Deltarune, no questions asked. I don't care about the other fandoms I've been in. I'm going to be crying for days, maybe even weeks after Deltarune ends.
This piece gives me serious Chrono Cross vibes. It’s relaxing yet haunting.

Don’t worry! Naming your VESSEL or CREATOR 'Papyrus' triggers special dialogue from Gaster in the intro of the game, so Papyrus WILL be in Deltarune! He’ll just be introduced in a later chapter, that’s all.
