Now if we could just convince Yamaha to bring back the 1000+ series with the Warmoth necks the would would be a better place.

I had the older entry model from a few years ago and its an amazing guitar. Sold it to a friend, replaced it with an LTD sn200, prefer the LTD but the Pacifica had better quality finish.

I actually appreciate the wood stability, nice finish the decent electronics, but them fret edges can be challenging. It sometimes already sprouting and sharp although it's brand new. Yes, talking from experience here, three times purchasing brand new in box. All 112 V, sold them each in 2 years after purchase and use another HSS from other brand each time.

Got a old 112, had it over 10 years, it plays beautiful, holds tune like no tomorrow. Quality at a price for the common man. Fxxk all you not got a high price logo , you only got cash not a iq

In isolation, all of these tones sound fine. An A/B with a Seymour Duncan-equipped Pacifica 612 would be useful to hear. Update-wish granted: ruclips.net/video/6XNvsN2YNIA/видео.html

What a shame this guitar has a plastic jack plate

Quite a few low-end instruments do. Inexpensive upgrade.

    • @dogfalcon

Who cares? This guitar is meant to be inexpensive without loosing its properties. Then, everyone can upgrade the way they want.
      Cheers,

@@dogfalcon I care. The thing is it's quite hard to find a good replacement. Usually aftermarket jack plates are either incorrect size or radius.

Your design looks TOO FENDER and OLD
You better consider to put 24 frets and reversed headstock to your next model...
