An older friend of mine (who just died of dementia) named Wayne Sells was hired to haul equipment on long-bed trailers up and down this road in 1947 (!!), and ran graders, scrapers, tractors, up and down the mountain, every year, in all kinds of weather (had to go up in the early spring to OPEN the road to the summit, and it snows year-round) until he retired in the early 90s.
As a side-note, there's also a foot race, The Ascent, which starts down near Manitou Springs, and goes 13.1 miles (21km) up to the summit which I ran one year. Needless to say, I was in top shape when I ran that. Now, after 17 years in the military, I sometimes have a hard time climbing stairs.

How about putting the finish line on a downhill part? The uphill at the end slows everything down.
Would love to see one with engines but no brakes..... or you are only allowed to use the handbrake.....

I think Spealer is mad because Octo and Neil took him out.
Neil you can make non abs cars brake better by reducing brake force multiplier to 70% and most of T series trucks dont have front brakes

830 views from post time to end of video at 25:21 video play. Honestly thought the veiws would get to 1,000+ views, not a bad vid though. I suggest a pikes peak bus race no engine then with engine. Gotta be the default bus engine though, no jatos or above default power engines.

I've driven the real road IRL and died many times driving it in the game.
Next time have the engine in the chassis, but remove the driveshaft. You have the weight and look. No propulsion.
