@@TechnoArpan The way I see it is people's first impression is "this dude's real cocky" with how she calls you a kid. When a guy calls someone a kid in media, it's usually from a parent/mentor figure, or a-holes with big ego. People assume the latter, and dislike the character.
However, when a girl calls someone a kid, it's almost always in a playful/motherly context, so when people find out she's a girl they change their tune quickly.

Rika has a such a great intro, you're expecting a cool and serious guy at first then Hassel says "This young lady is Rika" and she gives that adorable little smile and wave like wtf why are you so cute.

I thought Rika was going to be focused on Dark or Steel types, but she's so down to earth she's trained Ground types.
Also, the person who designed Rika is the author of Houseki no Kuni, Haruko Ichikawa. She did a bunch of character designs for Scarlet/Violet, and also for Sword/Shield.
Now THAT changed my mind. I love Houseki no Kuni.

His introduction scene also plays out in... brassius' gym i think. It'sthe second lowest gym by level. These scenes were clearly written with a gym order in mind so if you do them out of order things get goofy.
