One good thing about a Brodie hen is when you want baby chicks you don’t have to buy an incubator and when she has chicks she will take care of them. Saves you a lot of time and expense!!!

What is “ Brumble foot”?
Bumble foot is when a chicken injures their foot (scratch, etc) and it gets infected. Their infection gets hard like a pebble and grows causing pain when they walk. Basically I softened it and pulled it out. Then put antibiotic ointment on it to heal up. We will check her again tomorrow and put a new bandaid on it.
