2008-2011 Mercedes-Benz C300/C350 Halogen Headlight Disassembly

In this video I will be doing a teardown of a Mercedes-Benz W204 C-Class Halogen Headlight.

What size is the projector lens in these headlights. I’m modding a set and want to put etched lenses in.

I'm pretty sure it's a 3" lens. most OEM projectors are 3"

How did disconnect the lense from the light? With a heat gun??

I used a saw. I do not put the lens back on the ones for these videos. if you intend to put the light back together, you need to use a heat gun or oven to soften the glue and pry the lens from the housing.

@@user-yl2iq9qi8c RTV Silicone Sealant should be used to reseal the light.
