well there you go, I was born in Tasmania and you taught me a thing or two good stuff one of the more formative travel video's I've seen of Tasmania, good stuff.
Glad you enjoyed our state. A good honest assessment of what you experienced. I moved from WA to Launceston 10 years ago. Still discovering amazing places weekly. Lots of fresh organic foods can be found here and asking some of the friendly locals, great restaurants, cafes, bakeries, coffee, and amazing sites can be found. BTW, even many of us locals, while driving in Launceston and Hobart, miss a turn in the one-way traffic, then have to drive all over town to get back. We feel your pain! Come again, there is so much to explore, just allow more time. Rental car prices have been up since the pandemic. Hopefully, they should go down in time. Tasmania, so small yet so rich in unique experiences.
Thanks J1 for your amazing comments about our trip to Tasmania. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be going back in the not so distant future. We missed out on seeing a couple of great national parks near Hobart because of the weather, but we will return and also go to Maria island as we have heard so many good things about it. 😊
Thanks Christian TESS😊we are so happy that you enjoyed our video. Tasmania is a great place to visit and if you get a opportunity to go there, you’ll certainly have a great time exploring the apple island👍😃
Great vlogg, but every time you ordered fish and chip's you didn't like it! LOL Tasmania has so many food options, why order fish and chips so much?? We have magnificent Crayfish, oysters, scallops, Beef, honey, chocolate , cheese even our potatoes are delicious I could go on and on. For those interested in visiting Tasmania, Anvers chocolate factory, Christmas Hills Rasberry farm, Ashgrove cheese and Blue Hills Honey and some great foody stops. Bruny Island has incredible oysters at the oyseter farm fresh out of the water and straight to your mouth😍 and Artisan cheese at The Bruny Island cheese Co. And always prepare for four seasons in one day, jumpers and coats are a must no matter the season. Happy travelling 💜
Thank you, Dianna, for the compliments and all the useful information. We will definitely take it onboard when we visit Tasmania next time. We've been on Bruny island before and visited Get Shucked and Bar and Grill in Lunawanna. It was great! Tasmania indeed has beautiful fresh produce , we missed on many places, but we will be back :) cheers :)
Thanks for your comment! Overall we thought the prices weren't too bad, but you are right asking the locals is a good measure of what places are best recommended. We plan to go back to Tasmania and see the places we didn't see because of the nasty weather we encountered. We probably could have found family restaurants rather than overseas owned tourist places.
sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Solomon Mohammad thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi Estelle thanks for your kind words about my accent, I’m as Aussie as they come!😊 We travelled in the middle of January this year, but it felt like winter with some of the weather we experienced🥶. We did however have nice weather in Launceston which was quite good.
Hi Rahul, we traveled in January in the middle of summer and it was cold in Hobart. It was a cold jet stream from Antarctica that brought the cold weather to Tassie. It was as cold as in winter in Melbourne. :(
Bish-en-oh, Fray-sin-ay, Ma-rye-a island, Done-alley, Hew-on Valley, Jeeves-ston, Mu-ers, Hobb-art (just kidding about the Hobb-art) + 1 million upvotes for the Tessellated Pavement at Eagle Hawk Neck, but you missed out with Doo Town...
Thank you, Nigel, we are now aware of the many mistakes in pronunciation we made. We cant change it. We had a great time in Tasmania. BTW we passed Doo Town on our way back from Port Arthur and we knew how cute it is, unfortunately it was getting dark and we didnt stop. Thank you for your great comments! cheers
A few pronunciation errors: Bicheno = BISH-en-O, Freycinet = Frey-SIN-ey (the T is silent), Huon = HEW-on. Geeveston has a soft G like gym, not a hard G like Golf. You got Launceston right though which usually gives Mainlanders problems for some reason!
@@VikDanAustralia if you do come back to Tassie at some stage be sure to go to the Cataract Gorge in Launceston, it’s definitely a beautiful place and worth the trip.

we love it too :) wish we had more time to explore the area. but we will come back for sure)
We do have some great food in Tasmania, but most places are pretty ordinary. It's worth asking the locals where to eat, because it's not cheap here.

The best travel video of the east coast I’ve seen, even tho the talking was very drawn out
Thanks Denice Bell for your compliments😊.
We are glad you liked our video, we’ll keep working on the way we talk in our videos in the future for sure.
You pronounce nearly every town wrong, but I love it.

You speak English with an Aussie accent.
Liked your video of Tasmania. May I ask, in which month of the year did you visit?
