Well, he is right. There are a few replica's of blue. You'll see in older videos the one part of the guitar has a wad of black tape where the strap meets the guitar. You don't need to know the band personally, you just need to use your eyes, and follow the band.
its because he found out about strap locks. that keep ypur strap in place so you can jump around and do crazy shit without it coming off most of the time. so there's no need for duct tape anymore

According to BJs guitar tech Blue had to be retired because the neck was getting thin from all the re-frets it had done over the years, so it couldnt really take anymore touring.
Yeah, it was the backup for Blue on the 99 Revolutions Tour; there was several of them made for the tour and Billie gave a lot of them away to fans. It has a modified pickguard and the same pickup as Blue (Seymour Duncan SH-4 humbucker).

This was a gig that was predominantely sold out to members of their fan club - people who are either mad keen fans, or who have been fans for years and years - Pretty sure there's not a single person in that audience who would have damaged that guitar! He is one lucky little fucker though!!

I don't know maybe it's just the lighting but it doesn't look like Billie's wearing eyeliner. During some parts of the last tour he looked like an old raccoon with all that makeup, I like him better like this.
