I would have two separate hoses/pipes coming into the generator and one sucking in fresh air and one coming from the gasifier..... Have valves on these so that you can control the gas and air flow... Just work on getting the mixture just right...
It is all about fuel/air mixture. As one of the comments below has already suggested you need another hole with the baffle (similar to a choke where you can control your mixture. Very nice output though! How did you execute the reactor area?
I like having the startup fan at the end of the hose by the engine. That way, you are not having to use the vacuum of the engine to pull gas all the way through the hose on startup. That makes things extra difficult when you are trying to pull start the generator and adjust the air/fuel mixture at the same time.
I have not done this yet but I’ve been researching and it seems if you start it on gasoline and then switch to wood gas It’ll help prime the system because it appears your hose is mostly full of air
Anyone with a newer sealed wood burning stove has seen this gas in action. At ~ 451F (I measure at flue) the wood goes from yellow to a blue green plasma that forms about an inch above above the wood - this is the gasified wood. If you don't see this in your stove its burning too cold.
That’s a great looking gasifier!
I just love the rumbling sound it makes
Thankyou appreciate that, it’s is an interesting machine. Feel free to check out my other videos on how to build it.
"This whole process kinda stresses me out." Gave me a chuckle. That rumbling sounds like a resonant frequency similar to blowing over a bottle.
lol, yes it does

Thanks for the tips. Did you watch part 2 and 3 of my video? It has all the dimensions for my reactor

Thanks , that’s a good point
Wher does it get the air or is it the gases make air ,so the tank wont cave in
NICE GASIFIER.
Thanks, appreciate it

did it work on portable or inverter generator?
Portable,3500 kw
It needs oxygen at inlet
Good work
Also watch my gasification plant
Thanks , will do.
Wow, industrial size. What are you burning in that?

Starting the engine with a drill will help spin it over enough to suck up the woodgas.
Thanks , good idea
If you got it going make another video..lol
Yes i did, its called Finally running my generator. I started my Tahoe with it too which is also in my videos. Thanks for checking it out
