- This is one of the best bowling video games I've ever played. It is a little too easy with an emulator and a mouse, but on the real arcade machine with a trackball, it is a lot more fun and challenging. My highest score on a real arcade machine was 279 (all strikes except for one), which I did in the early 1990s. This game is actually from Incredible Technologies (rather than Capcom), the same company that made the later World Class Bowling arcade game, which was also excellent.
I used to rule this game. Had all the high scores at 300.

With the emulator, it's all about finding the sweet spot. I've got about 4 300 games on this game (on MAME, but not a real one).
The best I've done on a real machine, when I was playing it regularly in the early/mid 1990s (there was a machine at the place I was working at the time) is all strikes except for one spare. The score was 270-something if I remember right.
@@MaximRecoil Depends on what frame you had the spare. If you bowled 7 strikes, then had a single-pin spare, and finished with a strike every time after that, for example, I believe that's 279.
@@LeotheTiger1234 Thanks. I don't know how to score a bowling game because I've never had to do it myself. I haven't bowled in real life since I was a kid in the '80s, and my father always kept score. But I just checked an online bowling score calculator and you're right about the 279. Also, if I'd knocked down 6 pins and then 4 in the 8th frame, it would have been a 276 according to that calculator, which is the score I think I got, though I'm not positive. I'm nearly certain it was a 270-something though.
It is _way_ harder to bowl a perfect game on a real machine with a trackball than it is on a PC with a mouse.
@@MaximRecoil Indeed it is. In real life, I don't usually get above 130. My highest scores are 212, 200, and 194, but I think I just got lucky.

Great bowling game, but to me the best one is Krazy Bowl by Sammy.

It's too bad they really didnt do anything to make this stick out from the other two bowling games Strata reskinned and released, like at least stick Ryu or Mega Man in there, or something different at least to make it different.
I'm going to get this emulators on my android in case I can take it to the church with my beautiful Japanese wife and the Mall and my master bedrooms
