Ainz doesn’t like wasting resources so instead of forcing her to charm a new guy, he just allowed her to calm down in order to carry on quickly and efficiently.
Aura probably thinks Ainz is doing this on purpose. When he shushed her, that could be interpreted as "keep this a secret". Of course we know he doesn't but she don't.
"Where are the women?" Well, if its cannon, they there you just saw them. They also have beards and are indistinguishable to their male counterparts for any outsiders.
btw it's stated in the novel that dwarven women look almost identical to the men, the only difference is that the women trim their beards to make them look "pretty" or put on a bow on their beards or something femenine to their culture. So basically we probably already saw a bunch of dwarven women and we can't tell the apart from the men lol

Since the wolf asked if that was her servant, Ainz figured it was best to let him or anyone that might have been listening or watching to continue believing it. Ainz is like the overly cautious hero almost.
In regards to how evil those characters are their stat sheets make it really simple, Yggdrasil had a morality rating system, so Aura and Mare are both -100 making them neutral-evil (slightly more evil than Pandora's Actor, who's -50), and Cocytus is 50, which is just neutral. Basically everyone else aside from Sebas has a rating of -500.

I'm pretty sure the bit with Shalltear and Ainz saying "silence" at the same time is supposed to be an indicator that she's learning when he wants someone to shut up, and when they can continue speaking. She's being more proactive in a way that Ainz actually wants, so she's making progress.

It's a core mechanic of many RPGs as well that when someone performs a skill check (let's say casting a Charisma check on a creature you've just charmed), then a party member may assist by helping out (like for instance being another highly charismatic person who then confirms the charmer as boss, and lends her a probably HUGE bonus on her "roll").
Curiously, it was a good thing for the dwarves that the death knights died, as Ainz was originally going to control the conflict between the two sides without resolving it for more profit, quite a Machiavellian moment on his part. Luck was certainly on the side of the dwarves this day😂

Just to clarifie...2 death knigths could have wiped out the entire re-estize 240k soldiers army by themselves and even destroy gazef even with the treasures of the kingdom, those Quagoa were lucky the abyss was rigth there.
That’s not actually true. While they would do an extremely good job, the wouldn’t beat the entire army. Gazef is level 30 and is equal to 1000 soldiers. A death knight is level 35. However it does have unique abilities, it would probably be equal to 5-10k men. The large army could defeat them, just with massive casualties
@@petesthename1588 Not true. Levels don't necessarily determine everything. Immunities and racial skills do as well. Gazef could only take out 1000 men, but that's only because he is a human who gets fatigued and can get critted (hit in weak spots like his head or heart). But if Gazef didn't tire and couldn't get critted, he could take out the entire re-estize army by himself. Two death knights could easily take out the entire re-estize army by themselves, since they are undead, and undead don't have the weaknesses that Gazef does have (fatigue, weak spots like heart etc).

You also got to remember the dead knight ability to create undead from the people he kills. Basically when the solo death knight kill a person then that person becomes a squire zombie/(Stronger than a regular zombie). So then you will have one death knight n one squire zombie. The squire zombie count will increase as the death knight kills.

So that would keep him from giving out even more information and Ainz wants all the information he can get his hands on. So if he sees Shalltear as the master he will be more friendly to her and the charm spell will be even more effective for the Quagoa to give her even more infomation.
I'm pretty sure Aura literally interpreted Ainz's "shhhh" as don't say anything about what you just found and assumed he knew the death knights fell and was telling Shaltear otherwise because he was training her. But in reality Ainz was oblivious lol.

Overlord uses a lot of dnd like mechanics and charm person is a classic spell from dnd. It isn’t complete brainwashing but more like a temporary makes the victim think of you as a close friend. They won’t tell you or do something they wouldn’t do for a friend

Well Death Knight has 35 level which is equal to heroes of humans and defense equal to 40 level monsters, so the only Quagoa which could fight it is their lord - Riyuro which has 38 level.
If I remember right, in some works of fiction, lady dwarfs have big beards like their male counterparts. If it's the same in Overlord, then you've probably seen quite a few female dwarfs without realising it.
Y'all forgot, Nix didn't just witness how powerful Ainz is, he also was originally on the receiving end of Ainz' wrath. Ainz sent Aura and Mare to deliver a message to The Empire, where the arrived on a dragon and then proceeded to kill every human that was on the ground where they were. Ainz has not shown any malice towards the Dwarves and from the start has sought a peaceful alliance with them. Nix knows that at any moment, Ainz could eradicate him and The Empire, while the Dwarves only know that he is really strong and wants to be their friend.
While the runes on the sword were fake, there were runes in the game, however it was only found out towards the end of the game so the system was never fully fleshed out. That’s why Ainz does in fact know some runes

The thing is drawen Men and women look the same. The men have bigger and longer beard while the female have much shorter and smaller beard. The men look more masculine than the women but a normal human wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them.
Usually in games at least, fall damage applies to everyone and does more the damage the longer the fall, but yeah it applies to everyone unless you specifically have some sort of item or spell that nullifies it. Or you can fly ig lol
ains had 2 incentives to chose the dwarfs over the quagua 1 the runs smiths and 2 they would be more grateful other than than the quagua could mine the mountains just as well as the dwarfs, one could argue controling the quagua would be easier cos they obey power, but then there is no rune smithing business
Wasn't shown here and don't know if it will be, but Ainz set undead workers on mining duty so for mining it doesn't matter who he sides with, the important thing is the runecrafting.

Based off the anime all of Ainz’s followers except Sebas and Cocytus I would say are “Chaotic-Evil” while Sebas and Cocytus are “Chaotic-Good” and Ainz himself is “Chaotic-Neutral”
The reason Ainz doesn't contradict Demiurge or Albedo much is because he's terrified they'll find out he's stupid and lose faith in him. He's doing things as much for self-preservation as anything else.

i think aura and mare might be neutral evil and neutral good, just my suspicions if I was creating twin characters i'd make them share one aspect but be opposites of the other
