- CSX W993 was a nice surprise in the evening hours of May 30th, 2018 on the Abbeville Sub. Dedicated high-and-wide loads do not show up very often here. Three more trains are also featured, but were of the more familiar kind. Enjoy!
Note: This video has been recorded and produced in 4k Ultra-HD resolution.

Fantastic video! Although there are no more those extensive manifest train like Q616, 667, 676, 675, 614, … and R, S type trains but your catch is still great with strong and beautiful engines.
This video was off the chain! Especially when those giant engines started moving by. I was really Blown Away. Great video brother!👍👍👍👍👌🤘👍👍👍
Lol 😀 I also love watching these giants start up.
Another fun video... Thanks
You're welcome!
Great show!

I'm glad you like watching the train videos here.
Cool video! Loved the high/ wide! Don't see them very often.
Thanks! Love those, too!
Awesome Catches!
Nice, thanks :)
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good you like it!
Thanks MBMars you started of at my favorite location Howie siding. A couple of times when the horn blew you could hear an echo I liked that. What was on the cars at the end of the video unusual to see just three cars. Home from work not feeling well. I appreciate your videos
You're absolutely right. The echoes at Howie are simply awesome. It's definitely one of my favorite sidings on this line.
Thank you for sharing! Great footage!
Many thanks; happy you like it.
Great video
Thanks.
I was in Folkston in 2015 and saw FEC 105 that was my first FeC Train
Glad u caught that fec red white & blue locomotive
Yep, I had to get one.
Looking forward to your next series!!
Great!
Always an excellent video.
Many thanks!
1:09 looks like a engine doors missing some paint
NE Harper siding looked a bit uneven like it was gonna roll the engine...yikes! at speed that would be risky..loved the last train..JJ Abrams style lens flare :)
Speeds are low in the sidings, looks worse than it is. Yea, I knew that a W993 was coming, but I didn't know what loads he had. I like these depressed cars with transformer loads.
nice video
Thank you!
Another great video.
Many thanks!
Nice video!
Thank you!
Your really getting good at this train stuff, you should be on the payroll for train recon. Those giant transformers are exactly wye they keep the SW line in running condition. SCL trainman Pete.
Lol, thanks, but I wonder who would pay for it :)
I have also seen the three sd60e Heritage units the honoring our vets unit go rail and 911
Got a new camera a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to use it because it had no card in it Marshville nc had BN boxcars My favorite! Have a safe 4th of chicken! Oh wait have a safe and happy 4th Of July!

Yep, so be it! I'm good friends with everyone who likes what I'm doing ;-)
You always make awsome content
Great you like it, thanks.
how many trains should I expect to see in Austell a day
If Inman Yard in Atlanta isn't clogged, you can see 2-3 trains per hour in Austell. Afternoons can be a bit slower at times.
ok Thank you
I have seen to not in real life but on Galesburg railcam and La Plata Missouri railcam
Wow super video
Thanks!
Very nice! 4k/60fps out of a camcorder, who makes device again?
The footage was recorded using a Panasonic WXF1 camcorder.
It's rare to see a high-and-wide train on the CSX Abbeville Sub, right? Also, I not have much time to involve at home tomorrow as I have to go to Oxford Learning. Anyway, this train is W993-27 (E. Savannah to Stilesboro), right?
When was the last time you saw a Canadian national blue devil
Today on my HO layout... :P Seriously, in wildlife, I saw only one. This was last year on the CN Beaumont Sub between Mobile, AL and Hattiesburg, MS.
Awesome footage as usual! Could I ask about the average length of Q610/611 manifests? Sometimes they look relatively OK, but often they are just a bitter reminder of the former traffic on the Abbeville Sub. Great catch of the transformer loads! Have a happy & safe 4th of July!
Q611 is often very short (10-20 cars), but its length varies depending on the weekday I guess. Q610 is of rather typical manifest size. Don't ask me why their lengths are different, but it's probably because they switch several yards between NOLA and Hamlet. Enjoy the 4th, too!
Is this the first time you caught Schnabel cars?
These aren't Schnabel cars, but depressed flat cars. Schnabel cars have way more axles and can, therefore, carry far heavier loads.
mbmars01 I thought I saw eight axles on each car
That's right, but the American version of the Schnabel car has 36 axles...
Hey its been a while hope you been well I was going to ask you around 8:30 mark Are Those Transformer Units? Or Hydraulic Units of Some Kind? thanks for answering my question have a great day
These loads are Siemens transformers. Have a great day, too!
Cool video. Nice trains
I like trains where is this place
This is the CSX Abbeville Subdivision stretching from Atlanta, GA to Abbeville, SC. The locations where I filmed are always mentioned in my videos and easy to find on Google Maps.
Very fine video. Unfortunately boring power.
Thank you. Well, the loads of W993 made up for the lack of spectacular power :)
Hmm (idk what to comment lol)
How about: "nice video" :P
