    Great revue thank for posting. I to, have the entry-level ST. Though My wife and I both once had our own business. But now at 68 My wife and I are both retied and only have an income from our government pension. Ever second hand car I had ever bought has only last a few years. And there more trouble then what there worth. At our age we needed some thing reliable, that would last, with what years we had left. We needed a new car. But we found out that, though we own our own home. The maximum we can borrow on a pension is $27000.00 But in to days market Most New cars even at the low end SUV, are around the $29000 mark. So we thought we never get a lone to buy a new SUV. So a new SUV was out of the question But Seeing Nissan bundaberg QLD Australia They had listed a four month old Nissan Qashqai 2019 demo, with only 3000 klm on the clock for $27000. A second hand car has three month warranty But A new Nissan even if it is a demo, still came with 7 years warranty from the time the car yard takes delivery. So as it a demo we still had new car warranty of 6 years and 8 months. All we needed was the low end St as all those extras like the GPS the better trim etc can cost you up to $ 7000.00 more. Even though our Nissan Qashqai is an st. And we have to use our old Navman GPS. The naveman GPS is far better then the nissan GPS. It is still a very impressive car to drive and the entertainment system in it is fantastic. Though our Nissan Qashqai is an ST We just love it.

    Just know this : That by law You don't have to get your cars 10,000 klm service done by your car dealer, to keep your seven year warranty. As long as you get it service by some one who qualified you wont void your warranty. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) says "a manufacturer's warranty is a promise to the consumer that the vehicle will be free from defects for a certain period of time". While a manufacturer can have certain requirements in its warranty terms - such as ensuring any servicing is carried out by qualified staff, according to the manufacturer's specification, and that appropriate quality parts are used where required - it can't require you to service your vehicle through an authorised dealer to keep your warranty intact.
    "Provided you service the vehicle in accordance with any such requirements, the warranty will remain valid. If the manufacturer's warranty states that the vehicle can only be serviced by an authorised dealer, this may raise concerns under the Competition and Consumer Act," the ACCC has said in written guidance to the automotive industry.
    But that message doesn't always seem to be getting across: we've come across examples of dealers flouting the ACCC guidelines and saying you should service your car at an authorised dealer. We also found language in logbooks that strongly implies you'll be voiding the warranty if you don't take it back to the dealer for servicing.

      jcr65566 I tell every one of my customers that any licensed technician can work on your vehicle as long as you keep the receipts

      @@RobertTigheCars Yeah that true that any licensed technician can work on your vehicle and it wont void your your seven year warranty. as long as you keep the receipts. I also found out LOL you don't have to get a stamp on you log book to keep your seven year warranty . But it amazing what lies dealers tell you I wanted that car. But because it was a Demo she told me it was going to have an oil change before I got it. but LOL that never happened She also change the contract and made us sign it. when she found out they put an other 1500 klm on it. And it was after I bought It. I live my wife I look at my wife but did not tell her .She told me later She did not release what was happening And I had her there and this was the first new car she ever had. I just did not want to upset her. So I had to keep my mouth shout. LOL But when she found out later was was a little bit angry. .We will never see the dealer again and now on we will sevice it our self.

      jcr65566 just take it back in and ask them to do the 8k service or pay for the first service as you will only own it 3500km when it’s due for service.

As it had 1100 more klms on it . We were told it was going to get service before we got it that never happen .And to top it off this was a demo so it was registed on the road but we were charge $1000.00 for on road cost. .

      @RobertTigheCars  5 лет назад +1

      Jo Kh if your car had been running, then the engine should have been hot. As for the inside, if it sat in the sun for any amount of time it also would have been hot inside.

    • @RobertTigheCars
