Thanks for sharing papa. Many years ago I had our parish priest come to cleans our home in VaBeach ; it was a slab house built on top of an old swampy area. Anyhow a picture flew off a wall and didn’t break the glass or frame , another time one flew off and landed about 3 feet in front of that wall, and lastly my purse came up missing from where I always kept it hanging in my bedroom closet. It was literally no where to be found. So I went to the parish priest and asked for help. Had to give names of two adults that knew about these weird happenings as witnesses. Ft. Joe told me to lite a candle in each room except the baby’s bedroom, but to open a single window in each room before he came to do the cleansing. I did as he asked and made sure the baby was asleep napping. He did his readings and I read the passages he gave me to read aloud as we walked through the house and he was anointing and blessing everything with holy water. At the end he did a special prayer and got ready to leave. That’s when he asked me if I had seen his red prayer book he had left in his small bag ( bag looked like a man’s shaving case ). I told him only when he first got there and opened his bag. Well it was missing and hers Ft. Joe looking under my dinning room table and by the front door and all over the great room ( living and dining room ). When he gave up and was leaving he asked if I found it to please return it to him and then he said, “ I don’t understand how it came up missing.” I replied “the spirit is testing you because you didn’t believe this place was actually haunted.” Fast forward several months, Ft.Joe didn’t have much to do with me or my family after mass was over but one Monday I saw him after a special prayer session so I asked him if his red prayer book ever showed back up in his bag. He was startled and said “No” , I replied it never showed up at my house either. He honestly looked a bit scared.
