As an Arsenal fan I'm obviously on the lookout for a Thomas Partey backup and of the profiles I've watched Varela comes closest, particularly for how he's constantly looking to play a forward pass. He also looks calm on the ball and not afraid to put in a challenge. Very good prospect indeed.
