dont worry! just try your hardest. i tried out my sophomore year, a new school, never played or had interest before. the coach asked me to try out and i was super scared but i played through the season and even joined a club. the seasons currently on pause, but trying out was the best decision ever. good luck girls!

It's such a beautiful sport lots of people say its not a sport like are you kidding me they say all you do is stand there and hit the ball which is incorrect there is so much work put into volleyball and lots of people take it for granted even me sometimes, lots of my coaches say they miss playing high school volleyball so much, so don't take it for granted! Me and my family have a club of our own actually i cant say the name or location cause obvi but were like a family, corona has made it so hard but luckily we still get to play here and there. i think you should just go for it!!! learning at an older age isn’t too hard if you practice enough and have the mindset for it!! and i suggest setting little goals for yourself as you go, that’d be good for tour mind and also getting better!!!!!

Ive been into volleyball because of haikyuu. It has actually helped me run fater and better and actually longer! I can run for 30 minutes now without stopping so thank you alot!

when i was about 6-7 years old, my mum put me in a volleyball club, btw, i didnt want to be in a volleyball club. a few years past & i quit playing volley. I am now 14, & been seeing volleyball vids on my recommendation , & i think yt is telling me to go back to playing volley to refill my childhood. & now i joined our volley team in my school & i am a full back & left hand spiker. im glad im back in volley cs honestly its so fun ! thank you yt

I played volleyball for about two years, and then I watched haikyuu and haikyuu just got me even more interested in volleyball :) Now I have been playing volleyball for three and a half years!
I played ball at State back in the early 90’s (yes I’m old 👴) and boy I wish they did a “senior day” for us. All we got the “Don’t forget to clean out your locker” speech. Things have due changes at SJSU. Go Spartans! Cute video!
I would love to play it, but I’ve got 0 experience and I’m nearly 16. I also can’t jump super high so it’s like,,, I would think about joining a club but the uk doesn’t tend to have volleyball school clubs
i think you should just go for it!!! learning at an older age isn’t too hard if you practice enough and have the mindset for it!! and i suggest setting little goals for yourself as you go, that’d be good for tour mind and also getting better!!!!!

I’m unfortunately in that category where I didn’t find my love for volleyball until last summer. But now I’ve graduated high school and never played competitively. I wanted to join the colleges club volleyball that they offer but didn’t know if it was a good idea? Any thoughts anyone?
Hey Brad! I did the same thing and now I play on my college's club team after training for a semester! The worst thing that can happen is they reject you but don't let that stop you from pursuing things you have a passion in!

would I have to be switched out half the time if I keep receiving in the face? it happens to me in every sport I've played. (And I have a sensitive nose, so even if i dont get hit in the face my nose will bleed randomly)
