people are saying the crowd was boring, it wasn’t, being there was absolutely euphoric, energetic and magnetizing. you felt her presence around you, i had to unpop my ears in the end bc the crowd was so loud. no video recording from a concert will ever match the experience of actually being there.

@Lucas Alexander it's the new life, to bad. I'm 62 when we went to concerts, we raised hell, but respected the band when they played. But we did not live life through a phone. We had to stop some where to make a call. .10 cents .

@@charliez077 it’s not really about energy but more so about focusing on what really matters. when you’re recording you’re putting so much focus on recording what you’re watching so it could come out good and not focusing on what’s actually happening. take all the phones away and you’ll have the roof in the ground lol.
Yeah but its also nice if one or two people record it so that people who cant afford to go to concerts and such are able to experience it in a way. But thats why I think artists should have people record and post it to their channels so that might get people to not record as much

I love Dua and I love levitating, but I think the platform it’s just unnecessary, it doesn’t get that close to the higher sections and it doesn’t let her dance comfortably, I would have prefer something like the AMA’s :(

Why does it look like she's lip syncing at 3:20? She doesn't sing but you hear her voice anyway during the "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah", but when she moves her lips to sing "I'm levitating", there's no sound
The “yeah’s” are backing vocals, those are pre-recorded and usually singers use them during the chorus

All this "technology" leaving the lipa suspended by cables, left it completely without mobility and took the power out of the performance. you have to let the music roll, on stage, straight away, without these pauses, with the choreography. In the end, it wasn't good.

I’m afraid the crowd is not the problem. Levitating is such an infectious song (my favourlte by her by far) but such a boring performance is a killer. I get she’s “levitating” but she’s not inviting anyone to dance if she’s in a cage for over 3 minutes just posing and modeling. Having to see an artist up in the air for so long gets tiring. Good song, horrible performance 😭

@@oscarrimore you’re right. She has no stage presence. Girl might have improved a lot but she still doesn’t have that WOW factor live. As for singers who do eat the stage by just being there, I would name Shakira, Beyoncé and Madonna who without any dancers would still put up a show. Even Kylie Minogue who is not a dancer has that thing.
Honestly the entire show is like this and I have some major opinions:
The main stage design is so weird, why would put the band and the backing singers in pits inside the main stage, it makes more sense to have them on the sides of the main stage, because it just looks crowded.
There’s no Disco Ball, and considering Disco is a major influence on the parent album it would make total sense for her to have a giant one hanging in the middle of the arena or one above the main stage, especially for songs like Cool, Break My Heart, Hallucinate and Don’t Start Now.
Levitating could be more fun if the cage she was in went to the back of the arena and around both sides, with confetti raining on the audience below during the last chorus. If they extended the outro, they would make it possible for her to get back to the B-Stage in time for the next song. Or as an alternative, she could sing Levitating on the main stage but during the chorus she is raised on wires (homage to her AMA’s performance) and would fly around the arena, complete with confetti raining on the audience during the last chorus.
Using Lasers for just one song to me is a waste of equipment. Honestly I would have used them for Future Nostalgia, Hallucinate, Electricity and One Kiss.
Honestly it just looks like the production designer did a half assed job and the creative team needed to do more research and hone in on the albums themes.
I like Dua but to be able to shine in this kind of huge shows you need seasoning or a killer charisma other wise it can looks like a boring puppet show !

Watched a few of these concert videos and although I'm a huge fan of Dua, the production quality is terrible. The dancing is sloppy and dancers outfits look like $5 children's bathers. I cannot believe it, I would never pay for this crap.
