Most of the time, it has to be a hype one in order for it to blow up. And then they have the other tracks in the album and those are the ones the producers (can be the members themselves too depending on which group we are talking about. For example, there's almost no SKZ song that you can't see the members in the production credits.) go experimental with. For example, most of the 4th gen boygroup songs tend to be hype, but there is always at least 1 song in the album that's gonna be vocal driven.

Well since you are not very familiar with BigBang (OG's of Kpop) you should!! 😅 You can start by checking some of their balads since you focus a lot on vocals. 1- Try "Tell me goodbye" at the Japan Dome Tour (2014/15) - my God i love this rendition of the song. They are so expressive, you can feel the power of the words in your bones! 2 - "Cafe" live at MADE World Tour in Seoul. 3 - "Haru Haru", live at Japan Dome Tour. 4- "Last dance" in 2016 SBS Gayodaejun. They debuted in 2006 (2nd generation) and are extremely influential to a huge number of other artists (especially 3rd gen). They have a lot of great songs but I prefer a lot of their ballads and those are not even the songs they are known for!! They are a gem and few are those who can carry live performances like them!! Vocal focused stuff ? SM is the way T-T The Leader of NCT Taeyong had to convonce the ppl in SM to get Beautiful out as an MV for NCT 2021. Title tracks do not really focus just on vocals and so do most groups nowadays sadly. Every group has ballads they are not really promoted tho. There is atleast one in every Mini Album/EP or overall albums. SME groups for example will always have more than 1 Main Vocalist unless there isn't that many members. For example obviously NCT will have more than 1 Main Vocalist while having 26 members...they do mainly promote in smaller groups(sub units). Being NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV, NCT DOJAEJUNG, NCT WISH and NCT U including all members but always putting them differently together which depends on the type of song. For example a more vocally demanding song will have vocalists in it and a rap heavy song rappers. But for title tracks they want a mux and so as well for other b sides. So that is a whole different thing. But NCT U are amazing as it unites all the members from each unit. Some combinations are just really fun.
Big bang and 2NE1 were also VERY largely popular in Japan. Big Bang are the all time kings of kpop. G dragon (the leader of the group) is a household name, even people who aren’t into kpop know GD. Alot of what kpop is came from GD and his ability to innovate, influence, and inspire. His music, his style, his hair everything about him became trendy in South Korea. The dude brought chrome hearts to Korea and made it trendy, same with Cannel I believe! He is also one of the first in kpop to produce music and most of big bang’s concepts came from GD. He’s been titled as someone who was born to be a star as he was extremely talented even as a child. There is so much more to say about Big Bang and the other talented members (Taeyang, Daesung and T.O.P) but I’d be writing this comment all day. A couple if not most of the BTS members were inspired to become idols because of GD. BTS has a couple ballad songs, as well as ballad solos. Just gotta take a look at their discography. Lastly if you’re interested in more vocal based kpop, Taeyang, the main vocalist of big bang has an amazing discography filled with beautiful ballads.
I think that what made Blackpink reach the top is their unique songs, which when you hear them at first glance, you will know that they are theirs, in addition to the fact that their voices are distinctive and different, and the wickets are talented and have a deadly stage presence. They dominate any place they go to. When I did not know K-Pop, I remember what attracted me was that I heard... I photographed Rosé by chance and was impressed by her voice. I really liked it. Then I started searching and started listening to the songs for the first time in my life because I was not one of the people who listened to music because I did not find the music that suited me, but I found it in Blackpink. I love their rap and their concepts. I find them really talented, in addition to being very controlling. In live singing, their performances amaze me, especially at Coachella Their music is very attractive even for their individual music They are successful as well

NMIXX, their live performances are always better than their MVs. All the members love to sing.
The thing is, when they release an album: There is a main track with the visually captivating MVs and that's the song they perform in music shows. Most of the time, it has to be a hype one in order for it to blow up. And then they have the other tracks in the album and those are the ones the producers (can be the members themselves too depending on which group we are talking about. For example, there's almost no SKZ song that you can't see the members in the production credits.) go experimental with. For example, most of the 4th gen boygroup songs tend to be hype, but there is always at least 1 song in the album that's gonna be vocal driven.

Well since you are not very familiar with BigBang (OG's of Kpop) you should!! 😅 You can start by checking some of their balads since you focus a lot on vocals.
1- Try "Tell me goodbye" at the Japan Dome Tour (2014/15) - my God i love this rendition of the song. They are so expressive, you can feel the power of the words in your bones!
2 - "Cafe" live at MADE World Tour in Seoul.

4- "Last dance" in 2016 SBS Gayodaejun.
They debuted in 2006 (2nd generation) and are extremely influential to a huge number of other artists (especially 3rd gen). They have a lot of great songs but I prefer a lot of their ballads and those are not even the songs they are known for!! They are a gem and few are those who can carry live performances like them!! And unlike many grps they were literally nobodies when they started and they were mistreated a lot and made fun of in several variety show. Their success is well deserved! Only with luck, one does not reach that position. They have outstanding music, amazing messages, beautiful theme, extreme hardwork, various concepts, and a tinge of luck, everything together made them successful.
Stop being bitter and a hater jist coz your Fave has not achieved that level of success. Try to be happy that thanks to them kpop became so big and is now famous worldwide
lucky? watch their documentary and u'll definitely know what makes they're different from other group. the other thing is, when u are a musicians, u really need a song that catches everyone attention and relate to most of the people, that's how music works and connect everyone like bts does with their music and that's how you grow a fanbase and make public listen to ur song.
BTS built its name, its music and its style, without having a big company to pay for it or rich parents who boosted its career. Everyone worked but they burned their youth for a dream and deserve to be at the top of any list. Those who speak badly are because they don't know their history or don't know what talent is.

It's really a live performance. NCT, like many other bands from their company (EXO, Red Velvet, SHINee), carefully control their breathing so as not to lose their way during the performance. Many people mistake their live performance for lip-syncing

if you want to react to excellent vocalists, I will show you two examples of female groups, one from the fourth generation is one from the fifth generation, from the 4th we have STAYC (they simply rock, keeping their voice simply perfect live), and in 5th we have KISS OF LIFE (which said daz queens together with BABYMONSTER, queens of vocals).

The Leader of NCT Taeyong had to convonce the ppl in SM to get Beautiful out as an MV for NCT 2021. Title tracks do not really focus just on vocals and so do most groups nowadays sadly.
Every group has ballads they are not really promoted tho.
There is atleast one in every Mini Album/EP or overall albums.
SME groups for example will always have more than 1 Main Vocalist unless there isn't that many members. For example obviously NCT will have more than 1 Main Vocalist while having 26 members...they do mainly promote in smaller groups(sub units).
Being NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV, NCT DOJAEJUNG, NCT WISH and NCT U including all members but always putting them differently together which depends on the type of song. For example a more vocally demanding song will have vocalists in it and a rap heavy song rappers. But for title tracks they want a mux and so as well for other b sides. So that is a whole different thing.
But NCT U are amazing as it unites all the members from each unit. Some combinations are just really fun.
Big bang and 2NE1 were also VERY largely popular in Japan. Big Bang are the all time kings of kpop. G dragon (the leader of the group) is a household name, even people who aren’t into kpop know GD. Alot of what kpop is came from GD and his ability to innovate, influence, and inspire. His music, his style, his hair everything about him became trendy in South Korea. The dude brought chrome hearts to Korea and made it trendy, same with Cannel I believe! He is also one of the first in kpop to produce music and most of big bang’s concepts came from GD. He’s been titled as someone who was born to be a star as he was extremely talented even as a child. There is so much more to say about Big Bang and the other talented members (Taeyang, Daesung and T.O.P) but I’d be writing this comment all day. A couple if not most of the BTS members were inspired to become idols because of GD. BTS has a couple ballad songs, as well as ballad solos. Just gotta take a look at their discography.
Lastly if you’re interested in more vocal based kpop, Taeyang, the main vocalist of big bang has an amazing discography filled with beautiful ballads.

I think that what made Blackpink reach the top is their unique songs, which when you hear them at first glance, you will know that they are theirs, in addition to the fact that their voices are distinctive and different, and the wickets are talented and have a deadly stage presence. They dominate any place they go to. When I did not know K-Pop, I remember what attracted me was that I heard... I photographed Rosé by chance and was impressed by her voice. I really liked it. Then I started searching and started listening to the songs for the first time in my life because I was not one of the people who listened to music because I did not find the music that suited me, but I found it in Blackpink. I love their rap and their concepts. I find them really talented, in addition to being very controlling. In live singing, their performances amaze me, especially at Coachella Their music is very attractive even for their individual music They are successful as well

If you want music similar to ballads I recommend listening to “wedding dress” and “eyes, nose, lips” by Taeyang. Also you should listen to “beautiful” and “love you with all my heart” by Crush.
