Nottingham's 2024 pantomime Peter Pan 2.5* review. This production felt like a mix matched variety show with a basic plot of peter pan where Hook gets eaten in Act One! With a star cast of Richard Windsor, Gok Wan, Steve Hewlett, and Paul Chuckle. Produced by Crossroads pantomimes with the effect of the pit crocodile provided by the Twins FX. Paul Chuckle is simply a pro along with Steve Hewlett featured a lot in the show. Gok Wan feels underused and Richard Windsor plays a harsh but playful Hook! Peter Pan by Crossroads also plays this year at the Birmingham Hippodrome with star casting of Alison Hammond, Matt Slack, Danny Mac and Andrew Ryan's its a show not to be missed.

Good review... yeh I think Peter Pan is Crossroads' worst title, it just doesn't quite work. Are you seeing any other productions this year?

Yeah this one was a mixed bag, just didn’t flow, I’ve heard similar things in Newcastle. More pantos planned Birmingham, London Palladium and more, so plenty of reviews on the way! Thanks for watching James!
