As of a few days ago at least, they still had enough helium to make it back to earth even if the return trip took a few days longer. Apparently other spacecraft have flown with small leaks before as well, not sure which ones off the top of my head. There might have been more things that have come up since I heard all that though. Another thing, one of the reasons the launch was delayed for so long was a bad valve in the ULA rocket, not the Starliner - though the helium leak has been going this whole time...
