Harvesting, Planting & Expanding | Ep.19 Let's Play on Middleburgh, NY

Time to get the harvester out of cold storage! A few Sorghum fields to harvest today, and turn those fields over to plant some Barley for next season. On the second farm, which I'm calling the "Red Farm"... those Potatoes that were in the fields that came with the farm are ready for harvest, giving me a chance to finally try out the Colossus root crop harvester.
We'll expand into a new potato-based production, buy ourselves an island, and expand the Canola field we harvested in the last episode.
Lots more to complete in this Middleburgh playthrough before I'll be ready to move on, but we're getting there. Clearing our massive hillside field is next on our priority list, assuming we can keep up with all the chores between the two farms we're trying to maintain!

This #letsplay has been a long time coming, but I'm so excited to finally be playing this map and sharing the adventure with you! I've chosen this map as my first let's play due to the fact that it reminds me so much of home as I'm originally from the New England area. Red barns, big hills, lots of foliage, and small family run farms.
I've started with an amazing map, Middleburgh NY (v1.0.0.0) by Nitrodad, [ nitrodad1115.i... ], revamped the starting farm with a bit of my standard everything-has-to-be-black-or-grey flair, built multiple custom mods specific for the map, added my own custom grass type (Prairie Grass!), and tailored the map so I can play the way I want! We've got a customized starting fleet, precision farming & will be revealing lots of extras along the way!
My goal for this playthrough is to experience the map the way that the #authorintended - we're starting out at the new farmer starting farm, and we will continue to play through and experience as much of this amazing map as possible - with so many custom sell points, custom animal areas, and dozens of custom productions to buy & run, we've got our work cut out for us!
As far as settings are concerned, we'll be playing with Precision Farming turned on, all of the fieldwork settings on, and with a normal economy. We'll be buying the type of machinery & vehicles that are common in the US with the brand of choice being John Deere, as well as sticking with buildings & productions that would be common in the area.

I love simulator, driving & strategy games - especially those with an in-depth storyline. I didn't start playing Farming Simulator until FS22 was released, but love the game for multiple reasons - not only can everyone play the way they want to play... the ability to mod the game & everything in it allows the software engineer in me to tweak and customize everything exactly how I want it to work or look!
This series & playthrough will make use of many third party mods for Farming Simulator 22 available on the in-game ModHub, from third party sites that are PC only, or custom mods written by yours truly. If you have a question about a mod being used, feel free to ask!
