What was she supposed to do - offend House Velaryon by trying to having the marriage annulled? I do think Rhaenyra should have gone to House Velaryon to find a substitute for Laenor.
I liked how they worked in another reference to the Bracken and Blackwood feud with the talk over how more fighting started because someone moved a stone a few feet 😆 They could/should make a horrible histories style show which is just a recounting of all the fights between the Houses over the millennia and the stupid reasons they started

I'd just like to say how Alicent has lived a horrible life. She had to marry an old decaying man and lost her best friend because of her father. She has lived the life of a caged bird all the while, Rhae is just doing whatever she wants! Like what? 😅 And she's the bad guy?
tbh neither of them are innocent. i see why alicent feels the way she feels towards nyra bc she’s basically been this pawn in her father’s game and has had to suffer under the societal pressures of westeros while rhaenyra “gets away” with a lot of bs. but at the same time, none of that is rhaenyra’s fault. sure she’s made dumb choices but at the end of the day the only thing alicent can truly be mad at rhaenyra for is lying about her maidenhood. i think they’re both victims and unfortunately misogyny got in the way of their friendship
