Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.

How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. How is the bible NOT man's word. The authors of the bible told you that their written words are the written words of a god and you believe those authors who made that claim. Trusting in man that speak for man is a lot different than trusting in man who claim to speak on behalf of a god

What you say is 100% true - how do we know that the words of the Bible are true, when they were in fact ultimately recorded by man, and claimed to be true by men like Ray? There's no verification to a given individual like yourself.
The flip side to that though is, not only can we not know what is true or false from the internet, we cannot know what is true or false from the highest regarded source of truth in the secular world either, which is science. Peer-reviewed, consensus agreement scientific findings have been shown to be wrong by science itself over and over again. So what's the answer?
Exactly the way God designed it from the beginning - for each person to determine the God question based upon the desire of their heart. Very simply, if you truly want God, you will seek after him, find out for yourself, and know that he is in personal, first-hand experience. He says that anyone who does so earnestly will surely find him, and there are millions of people who will confirm this to you, I'm one of them. God will reveal himself to you tangibly, supernaturally if you simply desire him, and are willing to follow him in turning away from your sin to the best of your ability.

To really answer these questions of true divintiy you must remove man out the equation. And when you remove man out the equation you remove all manmade deities out of the equaition. The only way to Bible God, Santa, Allah, Odin or any other manmade god is through man.
To really get down to this you must compare any manmade deity to the sun. But you must do that with an honest heart. What's up Old School? Again, I get affirmation of the truth of God's word from personal experience. I'm 22 years into this relationship with him, and I can honestly tell you that everything I can test against his word in my own personal life has held true, and that's quite a bit. I've seen many, many supernatural workings in my 22 years of knowing him, none before that. Here's the key to that - all responded to, either on my behalf, or others, in the name of Jesus (male, btw). So that's how I know which is the true God... Unless of course, Allah or Thor have no problem going by the name of Jesus, but I doubt it. I've researched the prophecies that have come true, experienced supernatural things like miraculous healings, and having studied the historical and archaeological confirmations of the word.
Obviously, some things like creation, or God's gender, cannot be known in my personal experience. But based upon so many confirmations of the Bible's truth, and nothing to counter it, I can draw a reasonable deduction (for myself, not for anyone else) that it's words are true, thus strongly believe God to be male, because it says he is. When you find a source of Truth in this confused and wicked world, you stick with it. That's my honest answer.

I loved that man’s question. That encounter took me back over 40 years ago when I was talking to a few marines in a park about Christ. I was about the same age as those marines, and the one asked me. “How do we know the Bible’s Gods word and not just a book written by superstitious men?” He said he believed in a higher power, but not the God of the Bible. “Then he asked me “ if I start beating the crap out of you right now, what are you going to do about it?” I said, “well, absolutely nothing.” But then I said something like “if you believe in A God, don’t you think a God that can creat everything, can do something as small as inspiring a book to make sure man can know him?” And at some point I asked him if he would like a free bible? He aggressively said No! But as I was walked back to my old truck, he came running up to me. I was a little nervous at first. But then he apologized for being so aggressive, and said he was interested in a bible, if the offer was still available? I said, of coarse! I have not thought about that encounter in years until this video.

Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.

I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. The only criticism I have is that when you see the young man starting to turn, it seemed like Ray was ready to leave. I understand feeling uncomfortable, and I know Ray spent a ton of time with him and hopefully God will water the seeds planted and they’ll manifest fruit worthy of His kingdom. Sometimes presenting the Gospel to loved ones takes me all night to not only give them the good news, but to also unpack all the genuine questions keeping them stuck in unbelief. It’s as if they’re saying I want to know the truth, what is the truth? At the end of the day, it’s God’s Holy Spirit that opens the ears and eyes, but what a joy to participate!
So true, couldn't agree more. It's not that often we come upon someone who is genuinely open, we just have to make the time to accommodate them, and lead them to Jesus for as long as they are willing to express interest. I always get excited when I see one of these Living Waters videos in which the person is open, and Ray did spend a decent amount of time with him. But speaking for myself, I just can't walk away from someone if there's still interest on their part to find out more.

I admire Dominick's critical thinking skills. We need more people like him in the world-people who question things rather than to merely accept assertions put forward as fact. This was a bad form of apologetics. This man needed more, and he was ready to hear more. Apologetics is a tool to tear down a person's superficial walls so that they can judge the truth of the Bible for themselves. A method to change the soil a seed lands on. This man still had his walls up and still wanted to hear more. He still needed to be tilled.

I am delightfully surprised at how patiently and intently the man listened and asked real sincere questions.
I know faith is not something you can argue someone into, but I do wish the interviewer answered some questions more directly instead of deflecting them.
Instant gratification is tempting but let’s be patient as God has been so patient with us. I pray more good Christians will come into his life and he will be saved.

Not to stroke your ego, Ray, I struggle with staying humble at times and don't want anyone else to have their pride inflated because of my words - BUT - it would be such a gift and a pleasure to have the chance to sit down and ask someone so knowledgeable, kind, and patient any question or doubt we have about faith. These people don't always fully appreciate that gift, but this young man was much more respectful and open than a lot of people I've seen in these interviews.

This video was hilarious, I’m actually glad to see someone stubbornness, and intellectual demons, as always Ray did a fantastic job staying on topic, but sometimes I think that Ray’s wisdom was incomprehensible towards this young man, I think a better answer when he ask about the fallen world, is what Ray always say “The Wages of Sin is death.”

When you are in your vehicle driving on the highway going 70+ MPH, you are taking on faith that you will not get into an accident. When you a dentist is working on your teeth, you are trusting that he will do his job properly as you are in a compromising position lying on your back with a drill in your mouth.
