She did 4 but very wobbling and with a sickled feet . She was not the best doing attitudes but she was the best doing grand jete tho. I recommend you to watch Yana Kudryavtseva or Lala Kramarenko attitudes, those are the best in technique so far

Wow Almudena Cid and Natalia Godunko both had incredible hoop routines and Almudena’s ball routine was my favorite out of the bunch. The two were severely underscored in my opinion.

Kabaeva’s ribbon here is the most awful routine I’ve ever seen from an Olympic medallist. 😬 Irina and Anna were just a work of art throughout the whole competition.
@@Amelie8H she definitelly meant Irina Tchachina, not Viner. She is a great trainer who made great Olympic champions, but her methods are questionable. We swear and curse, but the way Viner humiliates her sportsmen is commonly unacceptable.

The time was just different. The energy of the crowd, music for the routines. Every Gymnast in this Finale was fantastic when it comes to flexibility and speed of movement. Yussupova, Godunko and Peycheva are WONDERFULL Gymnasts despite having no Olympic Medal.
This quad is truly the display of peak athleticism in RG. 25 elements in 90 seconds definitely took a toll on the artistry but the routines were so dynamic and exciting to watch. From Kabaeva and Yussupova's breadth of pirouettes to Tchachina, Godunko and Peychava's risky apparatus handling, I don't think there has ever been, or will be, a stronger line-up than this AA final in the Olympics ever again. I find RG routines today bland and uninspiring to watch. Reducing 25 elements down to 8 (albeit open-ended) and introducing "dance steps" is degrading to the sport, and I blame FIG for giving in to tall poppy syndrome. I have never heard of another sport that *lowers the benchmark* because the rest of the world couldn't catch up with the dominant countries. It's absurd.
It's true that watching Tokyo was such a disappointment compared to this. It felt like Ashram and Harnasko were the only ones who came even a little bit close because their routines are more adventurous and artistic. And I might get lambasted for saying so, but to me the Averina twins always felt like circus performers doing tricks rather than artists...

It is interesting how the Russians had a champion who literally threw her aparatus off the carpet, but now 17 years later they are protesting because of another champion who dropped her aparatus but still took the gold.
And Kabaeva lost the gold medal in 2000 because she threw her hoop. And Kapranova even didn’t get a bronze medal in 2008 because she threw her clubs. And even Yana who took most of the gold medals in World Championships didn’t catch her clubs in 2016 Olympics and lost gold medal. Who is the real thief? It’s easy to see.😅
Happened to Alina Kabaeva as well during the 2000 Sydney Olympics where she was at her peak and was shoo in to win gold. Unfortunately, she dropped the hoop and ended winning bronze instead.
Alina was already on first rank after the 3rd Routine, although Ira made no mistake in Clubs . I am pretty sure Alina would have won anyways for some reason.*cough*
