During such events Magistrates give power to local SP and police station to arrest all potential criminals and gather intelligence. They are even detained till the event is completed.

Yes. sure I will explain it.. in metro City/ in police commissionerate system, SP/SSP is called DCP. While in normal dist we called SP (Small dist, SSP IS longer dist). Like in jh BH, we called SP while in Delhi, Mumbai we called DCP,joint dcp
