S.FL will see record heat, stay hydrated and avoid being outside during hottest part of the year

  • Morgan Rynor reports the hottest days of the week will be Wednesday and Thursday with a forecast high of 96 degrees. However, the "feels like" temperatures will be 100 to 108 degrees when you factor in the humidity.

    The problem with thick humidity in the heat is that you feel like you can't breathe, I think humidity depleats oxygen

    Pre-hydrate BEFORE going outdoors too..I live in Central Florida with the stifling heat… before I go mow the lawn I drink a glass of water about 30 minutes BEFORE going outdoors…then keep sipping water as a mow. Also, as soon as I start feeling a bit “off” I stop…go inside…put my feet up. The lawn can WAIT!
