Respeccing a build has two aspects: passive trees and active skill trees. Passives: To respec these, you must talk to an NPC in select hubs, that has the purple head with blue brain icon over them. And do note that despite picking one mastery, you can still assign points (and unlock skills) from the first half of the two masteries you did NOT pick. Active Skills: You can respec these wherever you want. As you level up, you have both a "floor" and "ceiling" to Active Skill levels. The "floor" is the minimum level any skill you choose to specialize in will start at. At the early parts of the game, it will be 1, by the late endgame, it will be 10. The "ceiling" is similar, but you will reach the 20 skill point cap around level 60-70. If you remove individual points, reset a skill entirely, or even swap to a new skill, you will also have boosted XP gain until you get to 1 level below your ceiling. So it does not take too long to get back into full fighting form.
i will say for people that dont know, when he talks about resetting skills to resoec he is showung the passive tree not the skill tree, i can understand if this confuses some, maybe not the b-roll i would have put there
One thing on the merchant part. It will cost currency cost to put an item for sale but to buy the item it will be gold and not your faction currency. But can not wait for the servers to go up tomorrow to play the full experience

I'm starting to get a little leery of this game. I wanted to try it because I heard you can make pretty much any build viable, but as we get closer to release I keep seeing videos highlighting the same 5-6 builds that are " OP/must play"... I just hope that my necromancer build doesn't suck because I didn't go "flame wraith". I cant stand being shoehorned into playing a select few builds or else you are handicapping yourself. I plan to go either abomination or mega minion.
@@gramcbri I already tried that, it led to me making a minion build in diablo 4 which turned out to not even be able to accomplish endgame content and left me having to respec into bone spear...
I am still waiting for someone anyone any content creator to talk about the multiplayer and how buggy it is everyone is just talking about the single player but if u want to play with others be rdy to deal with those bugs unless they fix them before launch.

Just an FYI for all immersion type gamers. All base characters are as shown in game. So unfortunately your forced into genderlocked roles and my most irritating is being forced to be an old white dude as my mage. Logistics of an ARPG aside. Isnt anyone else tired of being shoe horned into boring class stories rather than making your own story/character?

I never bother with the whole *the meta* shenanigans your build sounds similar to me who just went "how many minions can I have at once via skills"

Multiple people have said every build can play every part of the game. It may be harder with some or more gear dependent also.
I can't wait for this overhyped game to die out so I can laugh at all the Diablo haters 😂
