Really appreciate the learning process. Learning right along with you. Glad you are keeping the original metal . To many just cut and re-skin.

Ambitious project to straighten that quarter. Did you see my video where I abandoned the passenger door work on my '73 and just bought a new $500 door?
My spot welder worked great on smaller dents, but I've never had much luck pulling larger dents. I tried to cut out the huge dent and weld in more metal, but the door just required so much work in general!
Now I'm working on fixing hidden rust on the bed rails! Quarters for my '73 are almost $1000 ea shipped, so I need to get creative.

I've considered the options of cutting out the majority of damage and replacing with patch metal, tried to find a donor piece, looked for an aftermarket piece, the prices on the blazers at auction have driven the cost of everything for them through the roof. However, I am in a good place now with the quarter panel. That progress will be captured in the next two videos. Thanks for watching!

Metal is work hardened from the original crash and then the people who pulled it back out originally, you will likely need an English wheel to get that close. I would try to find an original c10 blazer beside that hasn’t been hit and splice in that half or just splice it to fit your truck, there are vids on how to shorten a c10 to blazer size

I wish I had an english wheel. The cheapest I have found was $800. You'll see in the next couple of videos that I am able to get most of the dents out, Thanks for watching!
