what would you say is your favorite unpeated speyside that doesnt follow the traditional speyside flavor profile? I've liked glenlivet, mccallen, speyburn, benriach, and disliked glenfiddich and balveine. but none has really impressed me with lots of different flavors
Looks crazy light like weak piss. Just saying. Even a Glenfiddich 12 is darker. And has pear and some stone fruit notes to it. Depending on cost I’d give this a try. And no its over my cap on what I'm willing to pay for alcohol. What’s the ABV on this? Even at mid 50’s I can't believe it is hot. I do enjoy much higher proofs though.
It's bottled at 53.1% ABV... This may be an ideal candidate to try again after several weeks to see if it settles down and improves with some exposure to oxygen. Remember that darkness isn't everything.
Hopefully it improves with some time
I'm just past the halfway mark and I haven't seen much improvement yet...
