Fact is, Humans are greedy creatures who will always come into conflict with one another... the only thing that set the Europeans and Japanese apart were their technological and military prowess, had it been the Arabs, Indians, Chinese, or anyone else who reached the Technological and Military prowess needed to colonize and imperialize most of the known world they would've done it... and we'd be sitting here talking about how it would be so great if they didn't.

The English lyrics at the top don't appear to match what is sung here. Both versions tell the events similarly, but the lyrics don't line up as well.
Japanese lyrics roughly translate to something like this (taken from ruclips.net/video/sTpWcpKiko4/видео.htmlsi=qMty1qaIMmJ87JWU):
    The year was 1900
It continued for 55 days in Peking
It was the Boxer Rebellion, the intense battle where human bullets collided with each other
They made enemies of the Allied forces
The rioters challenged the decisive battle to the Allies
    France, Britain, Italy and Russia
In addition they attacked the flowers of the Japanese
Now the Glorios Peking is the death city
Under the orders of the Qing Empress
They mounted a charge on the Allied forces
The Qing soldiers came desperately towards us
Their war cry resounded through the city
The drums and bugles resounded as brave as their fight throughout the battlefield
The once glamorous city of Peking, now engulfed in flames.
