- Today I'm going to attempt to solve the Mystery Question mark
puzzle box by Siebenstein Spiele. Otherwise known as the "Fragezeichenbox". Designed by Jürgen Reiche. This is a level 7-8 Puzzle box made of wood where the secret to opening it is hidden on the inside. No force required, just your head and hands. Enjoy!

Spent the night in hospital recovering from a mini stroke, so buzzing to get home and find a new vid! cheered me right up.

That one fooled me too until I re-watched it, then I took note of the Palmed card. Should have been easy since he showed the back, but I wasn't paying attention as I was making a salad.

Not talking about that one. And that was knife through steel plate, which I believe to be like the needle through brass block trick.

So, I just discovered your videos yesterday and I watched the one where you ask the viewer what they would do next. I think the answer isn't a specific next step. The answer is just to keep F'in with it. Honestly, it's kind of a life lesson. Even though the answer isn't readily apparent, there's a way to accomplish something. You just have to keep messing with it until something clicks.
your point about the audience giving comments about like how to do it and all, it just made me think of livestreaming these puzzles, we’d see the full thing unedited and you’d get output from your fans, idk just an idea
Its not like you have to spend hours on those livestreams either, since the puzzles usually take a good while

I would try turning the circle at the bottom of the question mark. If that failed I would then try to turn the upper part of the question mark. Thank you for your videos Chris, they really have my mind wondering how these puzzles are solved and how great the minds of the people making them are. Good luck 😉.

Wait wait wait wait wait..... I gots to know how the knife-through-steel block is done...
Yeah I just looked it up. You notice when he pulls the knife out he squeezes the box to push the block back together. Thats why he dont carry it around, if someone examines the block they could possibly pull it apart
I more wondered why the lamp in the background at the exact moment of reveal where he pulls out the block starts weirdly swinging.

4:44 since I can’t touch it myself, it looks like you’ve reached the extent of just being able to wiggle around the external bits. That most likely means the mechanical part is inside the box, and I would try shaking spinning, or trying to move any magnetic or other piece inside the box

I think the little button is Twista blessed which maybe moves a gear within which let's go of some sort of tension holding the box? There must be a certain directoral way to move the button

some people have replied to you and said you should intuitively want to know how it works. those people are wrong. the difference between what they do and what you do is this; they want to be a know-it-all while you know everything you need to know in order to be amazed by a magic trick while not entirely convinced it is real magic.
there are tricks which i refuse to see how they are done. there are tricks i've figured out just by looking. there are tricks which are obvious and some which are not.
a vast majority of tricks are inherently simple and upsetting to know it fooled you. i know a handful of card tricks which are super uber dooper simple. i can ditch cards, i can palm them and even pinch them without anybody seeing. when people say i'm magic, i remind them that they got fooled by a trick, i make sure they know what i'm doing isn't real magic and it's not psychic or influenced by external forces of reality. i tell them i can explain how it's done but it's their choice. be amazed, or suspend disbelief for a moment and be a kid again. pretty much everybody says "don't tell me". they know it's not "real" and they know it's not entirely imperative they learn how it's done lest they need it to live.
don't let these idiots talk down to you. you know it's a trick, and that is more than enough to identify what is and isn't possible. be a kid with magic. be an uptight arsehole if you're trying to be the worlds most annoying know-it-all.

i know that water trick at the beginning is probably really simple and something to do with physics and gravity or whatever, but he did it so smooth and perfect. i practically creamed my jeans
You should definitely do that stage trick with the color changing card!!! Make the stage audience move up and down!!! It would be the most simple and expensive allusion!! EVER!!! Also it would be the first 4D magic trick that involves the ENTIRE audience...

Try to push or spin the question mark around, try to move. push in on two sides at once, look along the question mark for any divots.
4:20 try Japanese puzzle box styles by pushing sides sequentially. Like ? Mark, one of then ends, the back, other end and so on.

Mr. Ramsay, the cutting the deck joke is not a bad joke. It's an old joke, but funny.
In the 1932 film Horsefeathers by the Marx Brothers Harpo marx is in a speakeasy and some guys are playing cards, one guy says cut the deck. harpo pulls out a hatchet and chops the deck in half. It's a couple seconds in the film but very funny.

Also people refer to Vegas as “town”. As I’m going to leave town or when are you coming to town? City isn’t applicable to Vegas.
And lastly it’s Vegas, not las Vegas in conversational use.

Loved everything Garrett Thomas showed to the camera, but everything was really cool. Dude please do a puzzle solving live stream thatd be so effing cool I know these things. An take anywhere from tens of minutes to several hours and then some but the real puzzle fiends on here (including me) would toootally make time for it somehow.
