I LIVE for your tangents. When it comes to audiobooks, I go crazy when the narrator is too dramatic. But then again, Stephen Fry reading HP is amazing. I’ve realized that when two different people read the same book, I end up hating the “newest” one even though it might be better… don’t ask why I listen to THE SAME BOOK.
LOL apparently it's a comfort thing that people with depression do, Pete always knows things are bad if he comes home and I'm curled up on the couch watching Buffy!

I really have to push myself to wear it, I've rarely put it on just because I want to play. Hopefully I'll get back to that feeling if I keep pushing myself!
@@ruthfoley 🤞🏻 I'm starting to feel that way. I have been playing at night before washing my face and loving it. Also I'm feeling better more now then the last 2 months, that helps. Hope you begin to enjoy playing again soon.
Great progress, Ruth! 🩷 I’m gonna have to try the rimmel eye pencil if it stays in your waterline! (One day, once I’ve reached my goal number 😆). I’m so fussy with voices too, listened to a meditation the other day where they put on a super creepy high pitched voice (with reverb!) for some inner child affirmations! It was like a horror movie 😱🤣 also can’t listen to anything dubbed into German, it’s so OTT!

I have audioable, if I don’t like the voice I can’t listen. I also don’t always like when one person does all the characters. So, I only use credits and don’t pay for a book. That way if I hate the voice actor it’s ok to just stop listening. And there are free ones on there to. I’ve listened to those. I love the classics where celebrities are the voice. 😊
I think that's what I should do going forward. I've tried a couple of the free ones and like you said I don't feel bad if I don't enjoy it but I've had a few winners.
